"Then what could it be? Should I take you to the hospital?" Maya was clearly anxious, dreading the reason for his collapse.
"No need, It's probably just something to do with the fact that I've not eaten anything in roughly 24 hours." Maya was shocked at how casually he suggested this.
Her eyes went wide and the fear was replaced with anger once again. "So you're telling me, that not only could you have stopped yourself from collapsing by eating something, but you also didn't tell me before and THEN you sat and watched me get worried trying to figure it out?! Boy, you have some damn apologising to do. Why didn't you tell me this 5 minutes ago?!"
Farkle smiled at her standing in front of him with her hands on her hips, waiting for a response.
"I don't remember 5 minutes ago, last thing I remember before waking up was being in my bed, remember? And I didn't tell you now because you looked cute being all worried about me." He laughed, then realised what he'd said. It was Farkle's turn to widen his eyes.
Maya's anger was evident. "You wanna see cute? I'll give you cute." she ran at Farkle, arms flying around in the air. She'd forgotten Farkle was now stronger than her despite his collapse. He had her wrists locked and pinned her to the sofa within seconds. She huffed, squirming beneath him.
As he smirked at her, she kissed his nose to distracted him. This allowed her to flip him over, pinning his wrists and reversing the situation on to him.
"Uh oh." He passed out again.
She laughed at this, no longer worried as she knew the solution. "Serves you right.." she muttered. She got off of Farkle and went to the kitchen to make him some food. She raided his cupboards, finding a jar of chocolate spread. She smiled, knowing exactly what she was going to do.
She popped some bread in the toaster.
Maya spent a few minutes opening every drawer in the kitchen before she found the cutlery drawer, pulling out a knife. Walking over to the plate she'd set out, she took the toast and began spreading the chocolate thickly on top.
"Maya? It happened again, didn't it..."
She giggled, "Yep, like someone knocked you out."
The smell of chocolate toast filled Farkles nose, he moaned as Maya continued to laugh at him.
"Is that for me by any chance?" He batted his eye lashes for full effect.
Maya turned, Farkle could see Maya turning in a leather chair stroking a cat. She faked an innocent smile.
Maya slapped the two pieces of toast together and put them on the plate, bringing it over to the sofa where Farkle sat. He looked her in the eyes, full of pure admiration. That quickly changed to horror as Maya lifted the toast to her mouth and demolished it like a dog, gone in four bites.
