Uh-huh. Okay." His eyes were drooping, he was in a day dream.

She stood up, taking his hands and moving them to her waist. He furrowed his brows in confusion before realising what she was doing. They stood in eachothers arms for what felt like forever. Time seemed to disappear.

Maya began crying silently, Farkle picked her up once again and carried her to his bed. He sat her down and put the duvet over her before climbing in himself and cradled her.

After some time, Farkle looked down at the small body in his bed.

He swept her dirty blonde hair from her face and watched as she wrinkled her nose. He gave a half smile at her cuteness. He wanted to protect her always.

Farkle shut his eyes, allowing darkness to take over as she tucked her head into his shoulder.

Maya was pacing back and forth in Farkle's room. She'd slept at his house, she slept in his bed, she slept in his arms. A flush crept up her pale cheeks.

That wasn't supposed to happen, what was she thinking!? She shouldn't have ran to Farkles house last night, she shouldn't have kissed him and she shouldn't have stayed over. She gave both of them hope, and hope is for suckers.

Maya grabbed her coat from the floor, taking one more look at Farkle before creating a stoic look on her face and walking out.

Maya maintained that stoic look for days.
