"Seila!" Mabilis na tinahak ni Liedin ang daan papunta sa amin nang matanawan ako

Ngumiti ako rito saka kumaway. Batid ko ang talim ng tingin ni Coelth sa gilid kop kaya agad ko itong nilingon saka naghahamong tinaasan ng kilay. Nang makitang nakatingin ako sa kanya ay ngumiti ito kapagkuwan na animo maamong tupa.

"Akala ko ay si Boss lang ang pupunta pati pala ikaw Boss Misis." Sumaludo pa ito nang nasa harap na namin siya. Ikinadkad nito ang mga kamay na tila isang malayang ibon na nais akong yakapin.

I was already half way through towards him and give him a hug when Coelth faked a cough. Bigla ay nag-iba ng direksyon si Liedin at nilapitan si Coelth.

"Ikaw naman Boss. Wag kang magseselos kay Boss misis." Ipinalupot nito ang mga braso sa beywang ni Coelth. Agad na nagpupumiglas si Coelth ngunit hinigpitan lang lalo ni Liedin ang kanyang yakap. "Alam mo naman sayo lang ang puso ko boss." mahinang anas pa nito

I cannot contain my laughter anymore so I let out a hearty chuckle at their sight. May mangilan-ngilang mga construction workers na napapalingon sa gawi namin.

"Sige higpitan mo pa tignan natin kung may trabaho ka pa." Banta nito kaya mabilis itong pinakawalan

"Ikaw naman hindi na mabiro." Saka ito lumingon sa gawi ko at nakita akong umiirap "Sorry Boss Misis pag ikaw naman ang yinakap ko baka hindi lang trabaho ang mawala." Kakamot kamot noo nitong sabi

"How's the conctruction?" Coelth asked casually having his hand underneath his pocket and the other brushing his hair that was messy because of the wind

"Atat na atat mag-date?" Nakangising tanong ng kaibigan na inismiran lang ng isa. "Come I'll get you guys hard hats." he offered and gestured us to follow and I was already getting hyped up getting to see how they work but Coelth awkwardly coughed

"I'll take her back to the car while you get the hat." I turned my head to face him with confusion and disappointment.

I am elated that I get to see how they work but he seems like he is against it which made my energy drop a bit.

"What why? Let her see our workplace outside the office bro. I mean siguro naman ay nananawa na si Doc sa hospital. This could be educational."  I heard Liedin insisted of taking me with them while not taking my eyes off Coelth

Coelth hesitatedly looked at me and I showed him the cutest puppy eyes I could give and I think I have swayed him.

"Sigurado ka ba? I mean makalat, maalikabok and other stuff too." Pagpapaintin nito na tinawanan lang ni Liedin

"Dude, don't tell me ayaw mo lang siyang makita ng mga workers? Please man haha let her experience the life of an engineer." Sabat na naman nito

Coelth sighed as a sign of defeat "Get those damn hard hats."

"So what are you guys building here?" I askethem while we were observing at the first floor of the building

"Hindi mo alam?"

My forehead creased and looked at him intently.

"Kay Ate Aicee ito." He gestured the whole place by opening his arms wide

My eyebrows turned into a knit when he said whose it was.

I mean why would she?

Nagkatinginan sila ni Coelth at para bang nakuha nila ang ibig sabihin niyon

"It is a gift for her." Sinundan iyon ng isang buntong hininga

I was about to ask kung sino ang magreregalo nito nang biglang sundan agad ni Liedin ang sinabi ni Coelth

"So this is a modern bahay kubo restaurant. As you can see it is in an A-frame design. The taste right?" He winked at me earning him a flying pen from Coelth

"Whoah this is her dream!" I exclaimed looking around giddily

I reminisced that she once told me she dreamed of having a restaurant of her own which showcase the Filipino Culture.

"Akala niya ay hindi na ito matutupad dahil sa gastusin niya sa Cafe at sa iba pa but look at this now... someone made her dream come to life." Eyes full of amazement roamed around the unifinished building

"Ikaw ba Doktora? Anong pangarap mo?" Liedin glanced at me

Hindi ko alam kung anong pangarap ko. I became a doctor which I always wanted. I am financially stable and I have a job so what is it there to wish for?

"Wala na siguro Din." Nakangiti kong sabi ngunit ako ay naguluhan nang medyo bumagsak ang matamis nitong ngiti bago bumaling kay Coelth

"Ikaw bro?"

I turned to Coelth to witness his answer. He opened his mouth then closed it as if he could not find the right answer.

Until he answered with a sad smile.

"Wala pa siguro sa ngayon Liedin. I assume my dream still is not looking forward about the dream I want the two of us to live."
