Some people are willing to betray years of friendship, just to get a little bit of the spotlight, and unfortunately, sometimes the person you'd take a bullet for, ends up being the one behind the gun.

"What the hell is going on here?!" Madison says, glancing between Brooke and Grayson.

"Your the Queen, why don't you figure it out?" Brooke says, smiling gleefully at her.

Madison didn't recognise her own best friend. She seemed different. Stronger. Bolder. But a hint of evil lay behind Brooke's cold, dead eyes.

"I get it." Liam sighed. Madison turned to face him. What did he mean?!

"You're both the masked killers. Working together." He continued, nodding at both Brooke and Grayson, with a sad expression on his face.

Madison still couldn't understand. There was only one killer. But what if that was what they wanted her to think?!

It suddenly hit her. Liam was right. Brooke and Grayson had been working together this whole time.

"Why would you do this?" Madison asks them, feeling heartbroken and betrayed. Especially by Brooke, who she thought was the most loyal one of them all.

"You have no idea what you have put me through, all these years." Brooke says, coldly, glaring at her.

Madison blinked. Of course she knew what she had put Brooke through. She knew what kind of person she was, when she was Queen. And she certainly wasn't nice. Not even to her friends.

"We've been working together since the middle of junior year." Brooke says, proudly, referring to her and Grayson.

"By the time junior year rolled around, I had had enough of being ordered and pushed around by you and I was done being your second-in-command. I was sick of being a pawn in your cruel games. So I decided to start my own game, one where I was sure, I had all the power. And for once, you had none." Brooke says, leaving everyone speechless.

"This was all a game to you both?!" Liam states, shaking his head.

"Shut up, Liam. I haven't finished telling my story yet. Or do you want to get your head blown off, along with your girlfriend's?" Brooke asked him, now pointing the gun at him.

Liam backs off instantly, surrendering. Madison steps in front of him. "Don't shoot him, please. He's not involved in any of this." Madison begs her.

"Are you gonna let me tell my story or what?" Brooke says, menacingly and points the gun back at Grace, who was shaking in fear.

"Fine." Madison replies.

"I first recruited Grayson when I saw how powerless, weak, and afraid he was, of you and Logan." Brooke continues.

Madison glances at Grayson, whose eyes were burning into hers, with a fiery hatred.

"You see, Grayson had just suffered at the hand of one of yours and Logan's cruel games, so I swooped into save him."

Grayson sat on the edge of the bathtub, crying in silence. He couldn't bear to go back out there any time soon.

Madison and Logan had just made him confess to all of his friends, that his family was broke. He was so embarrassed. This was never something he wanted the powerful couple to know. But somehow they already did. And he knew they would use it against him.

He felt so alone, and lost, and broken inside. How could his own friends do that to him?! Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.

"Hey, It's Brooke." A soft voice spoke from the other side of the door. "Can I come in?"
