Christmas Imagine 4 ~ Luke

"Ready to go" Luke asks you.
"Yup!" You reply.
"Let's uh go then" Luke mumbles. Strange. You and your boyfriend Luke where going to Luke's parents house for Christmas Day. It's not often that he gets to see his family with touring so you agreed to spending a couple of days there. You had both gotten up and opened each other's presents, messed around with wrapping paper for a longer time than you'd like to admit and cuddled before you finally got dressed to head out. Locking the door and walking to the car, you couldn't help but notice how scared Luke looked. He wasn't talking much and his gaze never left the floor. He was perfectly fine this morning but for some reason as soon as you were ready to leave he went like this.
"You okay?" You asked as you buckled yourself in.
"What? Yeah I'm fine" Luke said putting on a fake smile.
"Yeah and the sky is freaking purple" you deadpanned. "What's up?"
"Nothing okay! I'm fine! Calm down Y/N" Luke grumbled. Someone wasn't a happy elf today.
"Whoah geez sorry for caring about you" You said, looking out of the window as Luke drove away. The rest of the journey was silent and awkward. As soon as you pulled up at Luke's parents' house he cut the engine off and took your hand.
"Hey babe, I'm sorry for snapping at you. I just felt a little sick but I'm okay now." He apologised.
"It's fine. You could've just told me" you said.
"I know but I didn't want you worrying. Forgive me?" He asks looking at you with puppy dog eyes.
"I'll see" you smirk, giving him a kiss on the cheek and getting out of the car. You both walk up to the door hand in hand, where Liz and Andy greet you with smiles, hugs and merry christmas-es.
"You're just in time! Christmas dinner is just being served!" Liz smiled.
"Good! I'm starved! Y/N doesn't feed me properly at home" Luke says making Liz and Andy laugh and making you hit your boyfriend over the head.
"Meanie" Luke says sticking his tongue out at you.
"Don't insult my cooking" you say squinting your eyes at him. When you get to the dining room you see most of Luke's family there. Whilst Liz and Andy are dishing the food out you and Luke say hello to his family, Luke mainly engaged in conversations with his little cousins.
"DINNER!" Andy shouts. Everyone jumps to their seats and sits down quickly. You sit next to Luke and he takes your hand under the table. You smile at him as he places a quick peck on your cheek.
"LUKEY GETTING ACTION" Jack, Luke's older brother shouts.
"Shut up Jack" Luke laughs, making you laugh as well.
"Y/N there's a spare bed upstairs away from everyone else just so you and-" Jack begins but is cut off as Luke throws a bread roll at him.
"Shut up before I throw the turkey at you sunshine" Luke says sarcastically.
"Luke! No throwing food! I swear Y/N he acts like a five year old." Liz says shaking her head.
"Oh believe me I know!" You say making everyone laugh. Conversations start to form as you all begin to eat your Christmas dinner.
One turkey and many stuffed people later, dinner is over and all the family are now sat in the living room. You're sat talking to Liz on one of the couches when Luke stands up and starts to speak.
"Urm I'd just like to say something really quickly. Thanks mum and dad for dinner, I can feel turkey coming out of my ears now." He says and everyone laughs. "Urm I wouldn't usually do this but since it's Christmas and since I've been planning this for a while I'm going to have to go through with it. Before we came here me and Y/N gave each other our Christmas presents, but there was one thing that I couldn't give you there and then." Luke says as he pulls out his acoustic guitar from behind the sofa.
"I wrote this when I was on tour for Y/N and it's my big Christmas present to you. I know it's not much but I wanted to do something special. It's called One and I hope you like it" Luke smiles.
He begins to play and then starts singing.

Luke finishes and you now have tears in your eyes. As you stand up and walk over to your boyfriend the whole family start to clap. He puts his guitar down and stands up.
"Did you like it?" He asks nervously.
"Luke it was beautiful. Thank you so much!" You say hugging him tightly. He wraps his arms around your waist and read his head on top of yours.
"I love you" he says.
"I love you too" you say pulling back and looking him in the eyes. He smiles as he leans in to kiss you. His lips meet yours and they start to move in sync. The sound of laughter causes you to pull away. You look to your side to see Andy stood on the sofa holding a piece of mistletoe above the two of you. Everyone is laughing, including you two.
"Merry Christmas babe"
"Merry Christmas my little performer" you smile as Luke picks you up and spins you around, causing you to squeal and make everyone laugh once again.
