The soft clicks of the female's heels hitting against the white marble flooring was audible to one's ear. She guided herself towards the elevator the secretary pointed at.
Jiyeon let out a shaken breath as her index finger pressed the top floors button, the boss's office.
The only thing she felt was anxiousness, the thought of messing up the mission terrified her because she knew that it would cost her life. The person whom she would be interviewed by wasn't an ordinary CEO, he was just like the others, a mafia member, more specifically a mafia boss.
After the Top Four, the YBM mafia group was the fifth most feared gang in Korea. They are becoming more powerful by the second, grabbing men and women from around the world, each with different abilities to strengthen their gang and if M.G doesn't deal with them now, it will be too late.
Jiyeon slightly leaned against the wall, her eyes grazing over her knuckles, a bit of foundation and makeup covered the bruises up which she received from two weeks of training.
A ding echoed in her ear, the noise indicating that she has arrived at the top floor.
The elevator's doors slid open, allowing Jiyeon to step inside the private office, a huge room occupying a quarter of the floor.
There was no back wall to the interview room, only a floor to ceiling window. Even from afar, she saw the most stunning panorama of the city. The two remaining walls contained a door, a bookshelf and a single oil painting.
"You must be Kwon Sulli, please, have a seat"

Jiyeon was panting heavily as she repeatedly punched the punching bag, the older holding it firmly in place.
"Twist your body faster and throw your punch, as your life depended on it!"
The female punched the boxing bag as she threw random techniques she had learned in the span of two weeks, her knuckles tearing as bruises formed.
Her hands were both numb yet stinging from pain as she continued to punch, her right hand slipping a little as she punched the bag with her pinky.
She winced in pain as she retracted her hand, tears drying up at the very bottom of her lashes.
"Here, let me see," Taeyong said as he extended his hand, the girl hesitantly showing him her injured knuckles.
"You nearly broke your knuckle. Try to punch with your whole fist or you'll get a serious injury," he informed as he wiped the blood off her hands.
She tried to catch her breath as she stared down at her own hands, having some bruises and scratches that nearly faded as well as fresh ones.
"Pay attention," he said firmly, the girl looking up to him to see a cold expression. ".. Sorry," she sighed, retracting both her hands.
"If you're that tired then we can end today's session here--"
"No!" Jiyeon stopped him. She needed more training for the missions she was given. She knew she wasn't ready, and he did too.
Taeyong glared at her before he massaged his temples. "Fine. If you can convince me that you are capable of keeping up then go ahead,"
"How am I supposed to convince you...?"
"Fight me," he shrugged before he got inside the boxing ring, the girl furrowing her brows. "Did I stutter??" He raised a brow, the girl shaking her head as she hesitantly got inside the ring as well.
"Just know that I have no intentions of going easy on you," he clicked as the two got in their position.
Jiyeon gulped thickly as she watched the male carefully.
"Ladies first,"
The girl launched at him, throwing left jabs at him, which he easily blocked before he threw a right hook.
Jiyeon jumped back, dodging his attack before she pretended to throw a left hook, the older lifting his arm to protect himself. However, he was punched in the face with a right jab, the force causing him to fall back.
"Oh, it's on,"
-
Roughly one and a half hours passed and their fighting began, the two breathing heavily and covered in sweat and bruises.
The male breathed in deeply before he ran at her, throwing various punches, some getting blocked, some coming in contact with her face.
Jiyeon lifted her left fist, throwing a hook at him, punching his side before hitting him with an uppercut to his chin, the older clenching his teeth.
They threw a right cross at each other, both breathing heavily as they both flinched by the force of the punch.
The two glared firmly at each other before the older cracked a smile, relaxing as he shook his head. Jiyeon softened up, seeing him smile for the first time.
"Good," he breathed out, the girl smiling slightly.
A water bottle was soon passed to her which she immediately chugged down, her entire body ached due to the excessive amount of fighting and exercising yet she ignored it.
"How did the interview go?" He asked, wiping the sweat off his nape with a towel.
"He took an interest with me and did mention he like the type of character I have so if we are lucky I might get the job"
"You best do get the job, I didn't waste two weeks of my time for nothing"
