Jimin raced across the airport, desperate to make it in time to board the plane that would take him back to South Korea. Jimin hates being late, and he especially hates running while wearing a new pair of boots. It seemed like a good idea to wear it for a breakfast meeting with a potential investor. He had no idea that the meeting was going to run longer than he thought it would. And now, he was about to miss his plane. Great.

Ignoring the stares from the other people who were waiting for their respective flights, the young CEO of ARCADIUM Inc. willed himself to pick up the pace as he made his way towards the Air Korea boarding gate.

Screeching to a stop, Jimin waved his ticket at the boarding gate attendant to get her attention.

"I'm Park Jimin, let me board now please," he gasped.

"I'm sorry sir, we just finished boarding, and in a few minutes the flight will be taking off," said the attendant while giving him an apologetic look.

"Miss, I hate to do the 'I'm a first class passenger' bit with you since I'm not an asshole, but here it is anyway. I'm in first class, and I really need to be back in Korea for urgent business," Jimin said in a haughty voice.

"Uhh.. Mr. Park-"

Jimin fished out his card from his jacket pocket and thrust it at the girl. "Here, take it and show it to whoever's in charge. I don't want to cause a scene, but I need to be on that plane."

The girl hurriedly took the card and made her way to the plane, which was about to close its doors. Seeing a flight attendant standing near the door, the girl heaved a sigh of relief and called her attention.

"Hey,  you've got a first class passenger out there and he said that he really needs to be on the plane! This is his card, you gotta take it, I think he's someone important," she urged.

Yeri took the card, which was made of thick black cardboard and embossed with silver letters in an elegant script.

"Park Jimin, ARCADIUM CEO," she read. Realization dawned on her, and Yeri immediately made her way to the cockpit to talk to the captain.  Soon after, she hurried to the door and rushed to let the CEO in.

Jimin was relieved. Taking leisurely strides, he followed the flight attendant to first class and thought about asking for a glass of champagne to soothe his frazzled nerves. He's been through an ordeal, and he needed it. Upon entering the plush section of the plane, he noticed a tall, tan, and very handsome man in uniform standing near his seat.

"Good morning sir, I'm Captain Kim Namjoon and-" the man began.

He's the pilot? Interesting, Jimin thought to himself.

"A greeting from the pilot? I'm honored," Jimin said, practically purring while giving the man a sultry look.

Namjoon, trying hard to contain his irritation, did his best to address the man who was now asking for champagne and snacks.

"Sir, we usually don't wait for late passengers. If the plane is too late, we may have to face significant costs. I hope that you don't make a habit of this," said the young captain.

Jimin sipped his champagne, giving Namjoon an insolent look while doing so. So handsome yet so stuffy.  Are all pilots such killjoys?

The silver-haired boy gave the pilot his most winning smile. "Come now, sit beside me for a while. If you're gonna scold me, might as well do it sitting down," said Jimin with a smirk.

Namjoon shook his head at the invitation. "I'm afraid I can't, Mr. Park. We're about to take off now. I hope you're not offended. Please enjoy the flight."

"Oh I will," Jimin said, his eyes never leaving Namjoon's face, and his blatant ogling made the captain a bit flustered. After hastily bowing to the CEO, Namjoon made his way to the flight deck.

Upon reaching the cockpit, Namjoon sat down and took a long and cleansing breath. Jin shot him a funny look and pointed at his face.

"What's the matter with your face?" the older boy asked.

"What, do I have anything on my face?" Namjoon asked while scrubbing his left cheek.

"Nah. You're all red," said Jin.

"Must be the heat," Namjoon lied. "I can't wait to get home. This Australian heat must be getting to me."

"Huh. If you say so," said Jin. "Let's get this baby up in the air."

Once the plane was safely in the air, Namjoon decided to take a break. He put the plane on autopilot and thought about getting a snack from the galley.

"I'll be back in 15 minutes," he told his friend before exiting the cockpit.

"Yeah, leave it to me, I've got this," said Jin.

Namjoon strolled to the galley near the first class section and rummaged in the fridge for some juice. Sensing someone on the other side of the fridge, he straightened up, juice in hand, to find Jimin standing there.

"Oh hello Captain Kim. Is it snack time for you now?" Jimin asked.

Namjoon nodded. "Mr. Park. Yes, I'm taking a short break, but don't worry, my co-pilot is still in the flight deck."

Jimin pouted, and the sight of his plush lips distracted Namjoon. "Don't call me Mr. Park. When I hear Mr. Park, it makes me think of my father. Call me Jimin."

"Alright. Jimin," said the young pilot, who took a swig of his juice.

Fascinated, Jimin watched Namjoon, who exuded quiet confidence and power even while drinking out of a small carton. The young CEO was holding a croissant in his hand, and without thinking much of it, he extended his hand to the taller man.

"Here. You should taste this. I don't normally like airplane food, but your croissant is delicious," Jimin said with a little laugh.

Namjoon smiled politely and reached for the croissant, but Jimin moved his hand out of the way. Slowly, the silver-haired boy took two steps towards the pilot and raised the flaky pastry to the man's lips.

"You'll get croissant flakes all over your uniform. Here. Bite," said Jimin.

Namjoon stared at the younger boy in confusion, but decided to accept the pastry anyway. He opened his mouth, and Jimin carefully placed the croissant between Namjoon's lips so he could take a bite. As he bit down on the soft and buttery treat, Namjoon eyed Jimin, who was unabashedly staring at him.

"Good?" Jimin murmured, not daring to break eye contact with the stunningly handsome pilot.

Namjoon cleared his throat before speaking. "Umm... yeah. Uh, thanks, I have to get back now."

"Anytime," said Jimin. The younger boy reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out one of his cards. Slipping it into the pocket of Namjoon's shirt, Jimin said, "Give me a call sometime. I got a business proposal for you."

"Oh?" said Namjoon, while arching an eyebrow in disbelief. "Jimin, in case you didn't notice, I already have a job."

"Oh I know," said the younger boy. "But I still think you should call me. I think you'll like what I'm about to offer you."

Namjoon smirked. "Is that a fact?"

Jimin slowly reached out and brushed an imaginary crumb from the front of Namjoon's shirt. Leaning in, he whispered.

"Oh yes. I think you'll like it very much."
