"Okay, that was the weirdest meeting I've ever had in my entire life," Jimin giggles as they leave the restaurant. Namjoon chuckles in agreement and puts his arm around the younger's shoulders, carefully shielding him from being jostled by the throngs of people making their way through Tokyo's busy streets.

"And you were worried that they were going to be gang members. Or the Yakuza," the pilot teases. "Those two are as dangerous as a bowl of marshmallows."

Meeting the eccentric Kim-Jeons has been a pleasant surprise.  Not only is it their first time meeting another Korean gay couple, but the fact that they have children, and they're happily doing what they want to do in life has given Jimin a delightful preview of what possible futures await him and his boyfriend.

We're not naming our future kids after food, okay?

Jimin could have sworn that his heart stopped beating for a millisecond when his boyfriend said that, then picked up the pace double time when he realized that yes, his boyfriend is actually thinking about a future with him. And more importantly, he seems quite happy about it. God, the thought of raising little Namjoons is enough to get Jimin all choked up.

The CEO knows that perhaps, it's not really smart to get ahead of himself, especially since things are going so well with him and Namjoon right now. He doesn't want to jinx it. But he has to admit that it's nice, knowing that there's a couple out there who's madly in love with each other and are living the life that they want, societal expectations and traditions be damned.

It makes Jimin believe that there's something really good that's in store for him and Namjoon in the future. Something that's possibly even better than what they have right now, which is already freaking amazing as it is.

Six months ago, Jimin would have never thought that he would be walking the streets of Tokyo with a handsome, caring, and charismatic man who's totally enamored with him. And yet here he is, gazing adoringly at the gorgeous, smiling face of his boyfriend, who can't seem to walk  without pressing a kiss to his hair or temple every five minutes.

Oh, he knows. They're become that disgusting couple that everyone loves to hate.

Jimin was so into his musings that he never noticed Namjoon gently steering him towards the Cartier boutique in Ginza. They step inside the shop, and as expected the atmosphere is hushed and screams expensive. Inside, elegant chandeliers grace the ceilings, bathing the space in a warm yet brilliant glow. Brown tones and soft hues of beige, gold and champagne makes the shop look luxurious yet inviting at the same time. Watches and all types of jewelry are housed in glass cases, and Namjoon approaches one case to take a look.

"Shopping for a new watch?" Jimin asks while looking at the array of silver and rose gold rings in another display. He really should get a new one to add to his collection.

"Ummm, no, just getting my watch strap replaced," Namjoon replies. "Be with you in a sec baby."

Jimin goes to another display, checking out the watches and wondering if he should get a classic Tank watch or the Ballon de Cartier for casual Fridays. It's been a while since his last shopping trip and the CEO thinks that maybe he should buy one of these. Or two.

What if I buy matching watches for us? Jimin thinks. Too weird? Is it too soon to wear couple stuff?

"Baby," Namjoon calls, and Jimin saunters over to where he's standing.

"Need some help picking out a watch strap?" Jimin asks. The pilot shakes his head and takes Jimin's wrist, then slides a white gold Love bracelet over it and clasps it shut.
