Namjoon checked the controls, constantly making sure that they were on course towards Palawan. He has never been to the island himself, and truth be told, he was a little worried about landing in such a small airstrip in a remote part of the island.  But based on his research prior to their trip, he knew that landing the private jet would be a cinch.

He didn't know why he was so worried though. Perhaps he just wanted to impress his new boss, since it's his first day and all.

They've been flying for almost three hours now, and Namjoon hoped that the younger wasn't feeling anxious anymore. He wanted Jimin to feel safe and at ease with him. He wanted the boy to trust him on his skills. He also sincerely hoped that Jimin knows that he can depend on him.

His growing concern for the CEO made him reach for the intercom mic.  He was about to use it to check on Jimin when the silver-haired boy entered the cockpit.

"Hey Captain," said a smiling Jimin. "I brought you water and a tangerine. Figured you might want a light snack."

Turning towards the young CEO, Namjoon nodded and motioned for the boy to sit beside him.

"Thank you, that's really thoughtful of you," Namjoon beamed. "I see you've already changed outfits."

"Yeah, this is so much better for where we're going right?" asked the younger, pointing to his white shorts, navy and white striped shirt, and navy TOMS shoes.

The raven-haired boy pursed his lips and smiled. "I think this is the most laidback outfit that I've seen you wear. But I like it. You look good in anything though. I bet if someone made you wear a garbage bag you'll rock that too."

Jimin chuckled and gave the pilot a playful shove. "Says the man who looks like freaking James Bond in a suit. And don't even get me started on that uniform."

"Thank you," Namjoon drawled. "I aim to please, as always."

"Ahhh, Captain, stop flirting with me and eat your tangerine. Here," said Jimin while holding a tangerine segment near Namjoon's lips. The pilot gave the younger a sideways glance before opening his mouth and letting the younger feed him.

Having Jimin feed him was a new experience for Namjoon. It's been so long since anyone has looked out for him that he's forgotten what it feels like to be taken cared of. He wanted to believe that his new boss was simply being nice to him, but Namjoon couldn't help but feel touched by the kind gesture.

"This is giving me deja vu," said Namjoon while chewing the sweet and juicy fruit. "I distinctly remember you feeding me a croissant when we first met."

"Well, that time, I couldn't let you get crumbs all over your uniform," Jimin smirked. "And right now, it's not like you can properly feed yourself and pilot Serendipity, can you?"

"I dunno," Namjoon answered with a cheeky wink, which made the younger blush. "You might be surprised at how good I am at multitasking."

"Nope," said Jimin while gently swiping his thumb over Namjoon's lower lip. "I'm not going to take a chance on us crashing on some godforsaken place just because I couldn't be bothered to look after you. Maybe I'm just being paranoid."

Namjoon's breathing became uneven as Jimin continued to delicately trace the outline of his lips. Turning his head to gaze at the younger, Namjoon murmured, "You're not being paranoid. You did that because you're just really sweet."

Hearing the sudden huskiness in Namjoon's voice made Jimin's stomach clench in desire, and he couldn't help but stare at the handsome pilot while he effortlessly maneuvered the plane.
