Jimin arrives at the ARCADIUM building with a spring in his step. The CEO usually puts on his game face for the start of a work week since Mondays can be a bitch. But for some reason, this Monday seems different. He feels stronger, more confident. And perhaps, a bit more powerful than usual.

Despite all that, he can't ignore the slight ache in his heart.

Earlier, Namjoon gently caressed his face and kissed him awake to tell him that he was leaving for the airport. It's only 4am, but despite the early hour, the pilot looked fresh and handsome in his uniform as he held a sleepy Jimin in his arms.

"I don't want you to go," Jimin sleepily murmurs while holding on to him.

Namjoon breathes in, committing Jimin's scent to his memory. "I know baby, me too. I hate that I have to leave."

"Then don't go," Jimin pouts, tightening his hold on his boyfriend. "Stay with me. I'll have someone make a robot Namjoon so he can fly the plane for you and you can stay with me and we can just play all day."

Chuckling softly, Namjoon peppers the younger's face with kisses. "That'd be nice. Except this Namjoon needs to work so I can spoil my baby whenever I want."

"But I don't need anything else," Jimin whines, pressing kisses on Namjoon's neck. "I just need you..."

"Hmmm, that's true," Namjoon says. "Still, it makes me happy when I know that I can do little things for you. Don't worry baby, I'll always come back to you. You're my home."

Tilting his head back, Jimin takes in Namjoon's face, drinks in the sight of him, knowing that it'll be a few days before he can see him again. So he kisses him, the kiss slow and full of want and longing and so much love, before reluctantly pulling away.

"Let me take you to the airport," Jimin says, but Namjoon only shakes his head. Cupping the back of Jimin's neck, the pilot gently eases him down into the mattress until the younger's head is on the pillow.

"It's okay, baby" Namjoon whispers, pecking Jimin on the forehead. "It's way too early. You need to sleep more. I called a cab, it should be here any minute."

Sighing, Jimin stares at his boyfriend's face until tears begin to well up in his eyes. Namjoon swallows a lump in his throat and runs his fingers through the younger's hair. He leans down and tenderly kisses Jimin's lips.

"It's getting harder and harder to be away from you," Namjoon quietly says. "I'll only be away for a few days but why does it feel like it's so much longer?"

Stifling a sob, Jimin smooshes his face against Namjoon's cheek. "Will you call me when you get to Italy?"

Namjoon nods and draws in a shaky breath. "I will. I'll always call, but what about the time difference--"

"Doesn't matter," Jimin replies. "Just call me anytime, will you darling? Promise me?"

"I promise," Namjoon murmurs. "Baby, ummm...can I ask you something?"

Jimin nods, caressing Namjoon's face with his fingertips. "You can ask me anything Joonie."

"Uh," Namjoon begins shyly. "D-do you mind if I take off your shirt? I want to bring it with me because...it smells like you and...I think it'll help me, when I'm missing you too much."

"Joonie," Jimin whimpers, nodding while he allows Namjoon to ease his sleep shirt off of him. "Can I have something of yours too?"

Namjoon quickly walks to his bag, places Jimin's shirt inside it, and extracts his own sleep shirt from all the neatly folded clothes inside. He walks back to the bed and hands it Jimin, who places it beside his pillow.
