After what seemed like forever, the rain finally stopped. Namjoon and Jimin have been cuddling and talking for an hour when the CEO's contact person called, saying that it was now safe to go to the other island.
A watery sun greeted the two as they made their way to the destination while riding a small, motor-powered boat. With a rueful sigh, the young businessman thought that if he didn't need to scout out a new location for his hotel, he would have gladly spent the weekend inside the private plane with his very sexy pilot. But now, he would have to put on his CEO hat and attend to business matters immediately. He intended to finish up work soon-- he was looking forward to spending a few more hours with Namjoon while they were in paradise.
For a city boy like Jimin, Palawan seemed like the closest thing to a paradise. All around them, majestic rock formations that looked as though they came from prehistoric times rose out of the crystalline blue waters. Lush, verdant flora can be found on the various islands of Palawan, and all the beaches are lined with soft, white sand. Peering down into the clear aqua waters, the CEO could see schools of fish and coral beneath the surface, and he longed to explore underwater with Namjoon beside him. Breathing deeply, he took in his gorgeous surroundings, and as he looked around, he saw the raven-haired boy smiling at him.
Jimin carefully scooted closer to Namjoon, who looked perfectly at ease beside him on the narrow bench that spanned the width of the tiny boat. "It's beautiful here, isn't it? I don't think we have a view like this back home."
The pilot's smile grew bigger, turning his eyes into crescent half moons and showing off his deep dimple to great advantage. Slinging an arm around Jimin's shoulders, he put his lips closer to the smaller boy's ear.
"It's gorgeous, but my view's even better," he murmured.
"Huh? Aren't we looking at the same thing?" asked Jimin.
"No," Namjoon replied. "Because I'm only looking at you."
"Ugh! Captain, how cheesy of you," Jimin groaned while a pretty pink flush dusted his cheeks.
The pilot laughed, the rich timbre of his voice sending delicious tingles down Jimin's spine. Checking to see if the boat operator, who was sitting in front of them, was looking straight ahead into the horizon, Namjoon placed his hand on the younger's thigh and gave Jimin a soft peck on the cheek.
"What can I say, you bring it out in me," the elder chuckled. "I'm thinking about exploring these islands with you."
"How about exploring more of me first?" Jimin sassily shot back, making Namjoon throw his head back in laughter.
"Oh, I will," the pilot promised. "I'm thinking there are other ways that I'd like to explore you."
Jimin answered with a flirtatious grin, feeling happy and light as the pilot kept his arm around him, his other hand holding the younger's hand.
Bantering with Namjoon like this came so easily and naturally to Jimin, and at the back of his mind, he wondered if it was normal to feel so at ease with someone like this, especially since it's only been a few weeks since they met. There was no awkwardness when he was with the elder.
Jimin was also fairly intuitive, so he knew enough to stay away from guys who exuded bad vibes. With Namjoon, he felt nothing like that. He could only feel warmth. And perhaps, a sense that the boy likes him for what he is and not for who he is.
The boat slowed down as they neared the shore, and the two got off, excited to see more of the island.
"It's beautiful out here. Are you really going to build a hotel somewhere in this area?" Namjoon asked.
