Jimin has never missed a day of work. Not even when he was sick. Not even when he got into a fender bender with a C-list celebrity who threatened to have him thrown into jail.

Hell, the earth could come crashing down and he'd still be in the office, working his ass off like always. The CEO was the very definition of the word workaholic.

So imagine his assistant's surprise when Jimin casually told him to cancel all his meetings for the day. Because he was going out. And also, that he was done for the day. Poor Hanseul thought that he was hallucinating after chugging all those iced Americanos all morning.

"Oh, and tell Yoongi that he should meet with the developer from Daegu since I'm not gonna be able to do that, will you?" added the CEO to Hanseul, whose eyes widened at the sight of his boss holding hands with the pilot.

And as the two stepped into Jimin's private elevator, Hanseul thought that this day was truly one for the books because he just saw the handsome pilot whisper something into his boss' ear, and the silver-haired man responded by playfully booping the taller man's nose.

"Well, that was interesting," Hanseul muttered as he dialed Yoongi's extension number.

"Yes, Hanseul?" Yoongi drawled.

"Uh... sir, I don't know what just happened," the assistant began. "But Mr. Park just stepped out of the office and he told me that he's done for the day."

"Huh," the executive said, not knowing what to say to the other. Jimin leaving the office right in the middle of a work day? That was something new.

"And he told me to tell you that you'll be meeting the developer from Daegu since he won't be able to make it," Hanseul added.

"Did he now," said Yoongi. Sensing that there was more information that the assistant was dying to tell, the blonde waited, eager to hear what caused his best friend to change his routine.

"And um, Mr. Min?" Hanseul said in a hushed voice. "The pilot was here, you know, the tall handsome guy?"

"Yeah?" Yoongi pressed.

"He brought Mr. Park a box of those fancy French pastries... macarons, I think?"

"Yeah? And?" Yoongi prompted.

"And... sir, they were holding hands when they stepped into the elevator, and Mr. Park booped his nose!" Hanseul gleefully exclaimed, before clearing his throat and muttering an apology to his boss' Vice President and best friend.

Yoongi dropped the phone and ran over to Hanseul's desk, who looked at the executive as though he has seen a ghost.

"Sir? I'm sorry sir, I didn't mean to sound so gossipy," said the assistant, who was silently berating himself for running his mouth.

Yoongi smirked at the assistant's apology.

"Whatever, Hanseul," Yoongi drawled. "We all know that you're the biggest gossip in this office. But when it comes to your boss' private affairs, I suggest you zip it. You do like your job, don't you?"

Hanseul gasped. Like his job? He loves it.  And what's not to love? As far as he knows, he's being  paid more money than the average executive assistant. He has a car and a modest apartment, both generously provided by the company.

And despite Jimin's reputation as a perfectionist, his brilliant boss was actually a joy to work for. He wasn't mean like other CEOs, and he wasn't in that position just because he was a chaebol. He actually deserved to be there. He had Hanseul's utter respect, in all aspects.
