"Ugh... Joonie, I'm so full," Jimin groaned while gently patting his stomach, his other hand effortlessly steering the wheel of his Lamborghini. "I think I'm good with not eating for the next 24 hours."
"Same," the pilot sighed. "I think that was a record for me. Seven bowls of rice... wait 'til my mom hears about this, she'll be so proud of me."
"Awww," Jimin cooed. "Don't forget to mention that you asked for an extra order of pork strips too." Slowing down, the CEO parked his car, and soon after the two were walking along the streets of Myeongdong.
It was Namjoon's idea for them to go for a walk after their humongous meal. And when he asked Jimin where he wanted to go, the younger immediately said that he wanted to go to the famous district.
At first, Namjoon thought that perhaps the place would be too crowded for Jimin. Myeongdong is such a tourist trap, and Seoul students would also frequent the place to browse among the shops and stalls. But Jimin said that it's been years since he's set foot in the place, so Myeongdong it is for their afternoon stroll.
Thinking that Jimin might get jostled by the crowds, the pilot put a protective arm around the younger's shoulders, gently guiding him so he won't bump into anything or anyone. Namjoon was so focused on keeping Jimin safe that it took him a while to notice that the younger was staring at him.
Meeting his gaze, Namjoon gave the younger a questioning look. "Jimin? What's the matter, baby? Too crowded?"
Shaking his head, Jimin cuddled in closer to the elder. "No, it's perfect."
You're perfect, the businessman thought, silently swooning after Namjoon used his free arm to stop an overly hyper bear mascot from accidentally thwapping Jimin in the face with its stuffed paw.
"Want a coffee, baby? I think I could use an iced Americano," said Namjoon.
Looking around, Jimin spotted a nearby cafe and pointed it out to the elder. "Let's go there, Joonie. Me too, I think I want an iced latte."
Fortunately, the cafe was not too crowded, and there were only two other people in the queue. Namjoon stood behind Jimin, looping his arms around the younger in a backhug, and the warm, solid feel of his body was so comforting that Jimin instantly leaned back so he could feel more of the elder.
Jimin's heart fluttered madly while Namjoon held him. And who could blame him? The way they're standing, with Namjoon lovingly holding him and pressing kisses to his hair while they waited for their turn to order coffee, was just so... couple-y. But would they ever become a couple?
To be honest, Jimin could see it clearly, the two of them becoming boyfriends. He began to imagine what it would be like, introducing Namjoon as his boyfriend.
Oh yes, he would say, beaming to his friends and gazing adoringly at Namjoon, this is my boyfriend, Namjoon.
My boyfriend. Namjoon.
