Present day, Palawan, the next morning

Namjoon quietly spent the time reading, his mind elsewhere as he waited for Jimin to finish inspecting the property that would soon become the location of a new ARCADIUM hotel. The CEO headed out early to keep his appointment, and Namjoon stayed behind, not wanting to distract Jimin from doing what he needed to do.

After deciding that the novel he brought for the trip was absolute garbage, Namjoon chucked the paperback into his carry on and muttered something about going outside to get some fresh air.

With a sigh, the pilot thought that he had no other choice but to venture out of the hotel room. Though he wasn't too fond of the blazing heat of the Palawan sun,  he thought that spending a day cooped up in the hotel was an utter waste. And besides, he was in a destination that he has never visited before. Might as well explore it if he had nothing else to do.

And if he was being honest, without Jimin to talk to, Namjoon was feeling kind of bored and lonely. It also didn't help that the hotel didn't have a decent Wi-Fi signal, so he couldn't lose himself in a movie or even a dumb video on YouTube.

Looking around the room, he started tidying up a bit, not wanting the CEO to come back to a messy room. As he folded blankets and plumped up the pillows, he gazed fondly at the bed that he shared with Jimin and thought about everything that happened last night.

After admitting that that they liked each other, Jimin and Namjoon spent the evening cuddled up on the bed, sipping red wine while talking about their hobbies and their interests. Both boys were hoping to know as much as they could about the other, and each new tidbit of information that was shared nurtured their mutual interest in each other.

Namjoon told Jimin about biking along the Han River and having a picnic by himself at the park. He also told him about the museums that he went to during a layover in Amsterdam and about his adventures across Europe.

For his part, Jimin talked about his college days abroad and his obsession with dancing when he was younger.  He also told him about his fondness for cooking and about the time when he impulsively decided to go to Napa when he was 18, just to find a certain bottle of wine to add to his collection.

"All that effort for a bottle of wine?" Namjoon said in between fits of laughter.

"Yup," Jimin giggled. " And the minute I found it, I booked a trip back home. Annoying, right?"

"That's not annoying," Namjoon said. "I think you're just passionate about the things you care about, and I think that's awesome."

"Why thank you," the younger beamed. "By the way, this wine's really good."

The two exchanged soft kisses and held hands while they talked, and they kept on talking until their eyes grew heavy. By midnight, they finally fell asleep, with Namjoon hugging Jimin to his chest as they drifted off.

Namjoon took a shower and changed into a pair of shorts, a blue cotton V-neck shirt, and aviator style sunglasses. Just as he was about to reach for the door handle, the door opened, and he came face to face with Jimin, who was smiling brightly at him.

"Room service," Jimin sang out, brandishing a huge paper bag with some packaged food inside it. "Figured you might not have had breakfast yet, and since it's a little late for brekkie, this would be brunch."

Taking the bag from Jimin, Namjoon took off his glasses and grinned at the younger.

"Thank you, yeah I was kind of hungry," the elder warmly said, his eyes taking in the sight of the beautiful boy who was dressed in a short-sleeved white button down shirt, white linen trousers, and boat shoes. Despite the heat, Jimin looked fresh and unbothered, and Namjoon strongly resisted the impulse to kiss him.
