yoongi was sitting at the dinner table, eating in silence as he awaited a text from jungkook, patiently waiting to be told that his men had got the job done.

yoongi picked at the last of his mashed potatoes, finishing his glass of water then heading to his office, making sure to bring his phone with him as he left, letting his housekeepers take care of his plate.

yoongi walked down the fine hallways of his mansion, a house that he was born in and was planning to die in, a mansion that's been in his family for generations. this would always be the 'big dogs house', or that's what yoongis father said at least.

usually, there wouldn't be so many guards outside of the humongous house, let alone inside it, but after the incident that happened not to long ago, (which is a story for later) yoongi was basically forced to hire men to guard his home, guns in their hands as they kept lookout.

as for the guards inside the house, they were put in certain sections of it.

yoongi still needed his privacy.

he goes to his office, walking in and taking his seat at his desk, papers stacked neatly on the wooden table with his pencils perfectly straight.

unlike him.

despite growing up in such a cold-hearted environment, his dad had no problem when he had found out yoongi was gay, sure he was weirded out at first, but family always came first. and the min family lived by that.

but apparently, his brother didn't get the memo.

yoongis brother had ran away when he wasn't chosen to be the boss, and it was very apparent that he wasn't coming back. they grew up hating each other, and they will most likely die hating each other.

yoongi never understood how his father had stayed on good terms with his uncle after he was given the 'crown', his father told him that he and his brother were best friends growing up despite fighting for a spot in the mafia,  and that they took the whole 'family comes first' thing to heart.

yoongi would have loved to stay on good terms with his fraternal twin.

but the other was just to damn stubborn to do so.

his phone had gone off, and rather than just a simple text, he was getting a call.

"jungkook, how did it go?" yoongi questions, sitting back in his chair.

"it went good, mr and mrs park are long gone..." jungkook trails off, gripping the steering wheel.

"..is that all?" yoongi asks, sensing something off with his right-hand man's voice.
