Her lovely and soothing voice drew his attention. He locked his gaze on her as she sang with her eyes closed. She has very fair skin and brown wavy hair that falls to her armpits. Who is this lovely lady? She truly resembles an angel. He pondered.
After her performance, he went to her to introduce himself.
"Hi." She turned to him smiling before her eyes widen in shock.
"Uh- hello." She smiled a bit before she asked him, "May kailangan ka?" Her forehead creased when he offered his hands to her.
"I'm Asher. Just Ash for short." She accepted his hands with her trembling hands.
"I'm Aerin, Ren for short. By the way, may kailangan ka? Anong maitutulong ko?"
"Nothing." He turned his back at her and sat at the nearest available table. Nice Ash, I'm sure you got her attention there. He looked at her again, and she was still staring at him, her eyes wide with confusion. He, then, smiled at her before he forcefully takes away his attention on the beautiful lady.
He was standing outside the resto bar when he overheard a conversation near the entrance that bothered him a lot.
"Sorry, but if I can excuse myself, mauuna na ako, kailangan ko na kasing umuwi e."
"Why? It's still early in the evening. Isn't it possible for you to accompany me for an hour? I'd like to know more about you." He noticed the door opening before recognizing the woman with whom he had been conversing earlier.
"Sorry uh- siguro next time? My sister is expecting me e."
"Oh." The guy followed Aki and that pissed him off. Why can't he leave the girl alone?
"Yes. So, uhm- bye?"
"Wait, Aki! Puwede bang ihatid na lang kita sa inyo?"
"She definitely can go home by herself. Can't you see that she's uncomfortable? Leave her alone." They both looked at his direction.
"Who the hell are you?" Who the hell am I? What the fuck, Harold? You wanna play dumb huh?
"You don't have to know my name to leave her alone." He smirked at him, hoping to piss him off even more. He then looked at Aki, who seemed bothered by what was going on.
"Mind your own business, dude. Nag-ooffer lang ako ng ride, walang masama roon. Ngayon, puwede ka nang umalis dahil hindi ka naman namin kailangan dito." Because of what Harold said, he clenched his fist. Oh, stop annoying me before you regret it.
"Uh, okay lang ako. Pasensya na sa istorbo pero puwede na kayong parehas uh- umalis? Mag-tataxi na lang ako. Salamat sa inyo, mauuna na ako." He looked at Aki, and he saw her walking towards the waiting shed.
"Fuck off, Harold! Or else I'll tell Chivian your shits." Harold scowled at him as he walked back into the resto bar.
"Uh- maraming s-salamat nga pala sa pagsama at paghatid sa akin kahit na hindi naman talaga kailangan." He laughed a bit when she stuttered.
"May nakakatawa ba sa sinabi ko?"
"Wala. You're just so cute....like her.." He said the last words in hushed tones, as if she was the secret in him that he didn't want to share.
