Chapter 50; "But You're Beautiful"

**Hayes' POV**

So I realized that Katie wasn't going to be here for a week, she wasn't going to go to school either. Which means, I can't talk to her. I bet Chelsea feels better about that than anybody else.

It's kind of strange how fast two great friends can turn into terrible enemies, just like that. I wonder what Katie's doing right now.. Probably gossiping to her friend she's with, maybe?

**Katie's POV**

We all laughed at the stupid joke Connor said, he blushed and was getting all cheeky. He has this simple and his eyes sparkle, it's so cute. "Hey, you guys wanna go to the park or something?" Alex asked. "Yeah, totally" we all said, not in sync. That'd be creepy.

So we all got up and walked to the park, which was quiet a ways away but screw it, it was fun. When we got there, we kind of went our own way, Savannah and Alex went to go push eachother on the swings but Connor and I were walking on the mini trail, it had.

We were talking a lot, getting to know eachother. Then it got quiet and a little awkward. "Why are you so cute?" He asked, I looked at him and he was staring at me, I blushed and looked forward, trying to hide it. "Why are you so cute?" I repeated the question to him.

"Because I just am, I'm like a tumblr boy without all the man- whoreness" I giggled and he stopped walking and held me back. "But you really are pretty" he did that smirk thing again and looked from eyes to my lips and back to my eyes. 'He really knows how to make a girl go crazy'.

"Connor.. I have to tell you something" he smiled cheekily and walked like a gentleman with his hands behind his back and said "yes?" In a British accent. "I have a boyfriend" his happiness sorta faded away. "But I don't think it's gonna last"

"What's wrong?" He asked. "You wouldn't want to know, i mean. I know guys don't like listening to girls talking about other guys" "no. I want to know".

So I told him everything that has happened ever since I moved here and why I moved here. He kept looking at me sympathetically. I chuckled and shook my head bowing it down. "I can't believe I just opened up to a total stranger", I mumbled.

"What are you talking about?, we got to know eachother for the past hour, I feel like I've known you forever" he said. Then it got quiet again, "do you love him" "what?" "Do you love him, this Luke guy. Cause to me, he sounds like an asshole"

"I don't even know anymore" we got back to the main park and saw the two love birds laughing at something they said. "Somehow, Alex always gets the ugly ones" he said Ina joking way. I slapped his shoulder, "I'm kidding, she's pretty. Really pretty" I could feel the jealousy rising up.

"But your beautiful"

• Sorry this is so short, but I will update later, Merry Christmas! Oh.. I forgot what to say, oh yeah. So I got a new laptop for Christmas so I'll hopefully be having higher quality of writing again, k baii •
