They're now both lying on Elmo's bed, cuddling, their bodies being intertwined with each other.
"How many times have you been here?" Julie broke the silence.
"Hmmm a couple of times?"
"Bakit parang kilala ka na nila Manang Celing?" Elmo just shrugged.
"Kanino ba 'tong beach resort na 'to?" She asked again.
"From one of my friends." He simply answered.
"How many girls have you brought here?" She asked, unwary of Elmo's discomfort.
"Uhmmm only one." He simply said.
"Why don't we just sleep and have some rest shall we? Marami pa tayo'ng gagawin bukas ng umaga." He said while pinching her nose.
"I haven't moved on from what we did earlier so hindi pa ako makatulog." Julie said while snuggling deeper into Elmo's chest.
"Why don't we do it again? Hindi pa rin ako makatulog ee." He said. She immediately slapped his thigh.
"Ikaw basta ganyan bet na bet mo ee no? Pero maiba ako, you seldom talk about your family whilst yung akin naman laging bida kapag naguusap tayo."
"It's because there's nothing much interesting sa family ko. And I talk about them sometimes. Oh di ba pinagusapan natin si dad? And si kuya Frank din remember?"
"Yeah pero I haven't had any glimpse kung ilan ba kayong magkakapatid, kung may dapat ba ako'ng katakutan, kung terror ba yung mommy mo ganon."
"If that'll make you feel better, sige I'll tell you some things about my family. Not that you asked for it though pero para magkaroon ka na rin ng glimpse kung sino at ano yung mga magiging in-laws mo." He winked, making Julie blush at the thought of it.
"We are six in the family. Our eldest is si ate Max pero she's now living in the US and kasi she's taking care of one of my mom's business. Next to ate Max is si kuya Frank, which you have met noon at napagkamalan mo pa na driver ko." Elmo received a hard pat on his right arm.
"Kasi naman hindi mo ako in-orient noon na kuya mo pala yung magdridrive para sa akin. Nakakahiya tuloy ee kaya ko naman mag-drive."
"Oh bakit alam mo na ba noon kung saan yung unit ko? Sabi na ee stalker kita."
"Makapal ka kuya ha? Sige na tuloy mo na yan."
"So ayun na nga, kuya Frank is one of the Executive officer sa company ni mommy. He's been training para pumalit kay mommy bilang CEO since magreretire na raw siya."
"Oh parang si kuya."
"Right. Then next is si ate Rina. She's one of the Junior CEO sa isa sa subsidiary ni mommy. She's currently at Italy kasi may tinatapos siyang business venture doon. Sunod ako, isang artista. Then Arkin, who is taking up law ngayon and our youngest is si Clara na nasa Med school."
"So sa inyong anim, ikaw, si Arkin at si Clara lang yung hindi in-line?"
"Well Arkin's taking up law para makasama sa legal counsel ng company ni mommy and Clara's in med school para mag takeover sa hospital na pagmamay-ari ni mommy, so ako lang talaga yung hindi in-line sa amin."
"You sound as if hindi mo rin pagmamay-ari yung mga business ng mommy mo."
"Well ever since I never wanted to be part of her company. I mean she's good and loving and supportive sa amin, pero grabe siya kung maging boss. And I never wanted to be under her, although she manages my career, hinahayaan niya ako to do what I want outside of it."
"Oh ayun naman pala ee. Buti hindi ka pinilit ng mommy at daddy mo to partake on your businesses."
"Well si daddy lang naman yung kakampi ko sa kanilang lahat. Siya lang yung naka-gets kung bakit mas pinili ko yung paga-artista over those business shits. Maybe because he's also an artist."
"Maybe...pero at the tone of your voice parang aloof ka sa kanila."
"Hindi naman. In fact I still live sa Antipolo and I seldom use my unit. Ngayon na lang ulit kasi tiga-QC ka, so in case gusto kitang makita agad, mabilis lang yung transpo." He winked at her.
"Malandi ka talgaga ee no!"
"Tapos na ba yung pa press conference mo Ms. San Jose? Can we turn the tables now? Ako naman magtatanong." He said while circling his index finger on Julie's palm.
"Don't you want to transfer company? I mean how long have you been with them?"
"Ha? Where's this going at saan ang iyong pinanghuhugutan Sir?"
"Wala lang just a thought. I mean, since ngayon may The Voice, don't you want to just resign sa company na pinag-tratrabahuhan mo and focus more on showbiz?"
"No, I don't think kaya kong iwan yung trabaho ko Moe, I mean at least not now. It's my dream job. Tsaka hindi naman permanent ang showbiz ee. At least kapag walang ganap, I could go to the office and do my job 'di ba? Mabait naman yung boss namin sa accounting department ee." Elmo just shrugged and kept himself from pushing the topic.
"Well inisip ko rin talaga 'yan apart from kuya's eagerness to let me take over some of our businesses."
"Why don't you just do that?"
"Wala lang, ayaw ko kasi yung fact na all my life umasa ako sa pera ng magulang ko. Alam mo yun? I wanted to be independent ever since I was a kid. Lagi kasi nila akong sinasabihan na mayaman, magara but I don't really wanted to be tagged as such. Gusto ko maenjoy ko yung mga bagay na meron ako with my own money, yung pinaghirapan ko, hindi yung asa sa magulang ganon."
"But you will work naman ee, hindi naman yung tutulala ka lang tapos magkakapera ka na agad."
"Oo pero technically galing pa rin yun sa kanila. Ayaw ko lang talaga yung ganoong idea."
"Alam mo parehas tayo ng stand sa buhay." Elmo said.
"No wonder we are always in sync." Julie responded, making Elmo smirk.
"Want to feel our synching?"
"Ayan diyan ka magaling, harot! Matulog na tayo and spend the night as normal people shall we?"
"Really now?" He said as he hugged her, and put themselves to sleep.
