"So...what made you decide na Super Bass ang kakantahin mo?" Elmo asked her.
They're both having their dinner on Elmo's condo sa QC.
"Well, I've been thinking talaga kung ano yung pwede ko pang gawin since I've sang a country music, tapos nagbelt na rin ako, so why not try rap naman. And since yung coach ko ay magaling mag-rap, sobrang swak yung naisip ko."
"Uhuh...and?"
"And I wanted to really learn kung paano yung right way of rapping. Kasi parang may specific methods dapat ee and yun yung gusto ko'ng matutunan. I wanted to not just sing, or belt a song. Gusto ko rin makilala nila yung rapping Julie."
"And?"
"May gusto ka ba'ng marinig? Hahaha"
"Well..."
"Oo na, kasi nagrarap yung jowa ko, sobrang galing niya, tapos gwapo pa pero mas cute kapag nagseselos sa taong hindi naman pumantay sa level niya."
"Hey! No fair!"
"What? Akala mo ba lalagpas sa akin yung jelly jelly side mo? Hahaha you should've seen yourself babe. Mukha kang ewan."
"Really now Julie Anne?" She smilingly nodded.
He's about to speak when his phone rang.
"Sorry babe I have to take this. Si mommy kasi." Julie nodded.
Elmo went to his balcony to properly talk to her mom, and to keep some privacy.
"Hello mom."
"Moe where are you? Have you seen Ella's posts?"
"No...why? Will it concern me?"
"Yes you will. And it's making buzz sa social media. I thought you saw it already. Nasaan ka ba ngayon?"
"I'm at my condo. Kasama ko si Julie."
"She better not see those because for sure..."
"For sure what mom?"
"Just see it for yourself. I don't know if Julie needs to see those too. Bahala ka na, your call."
"Okay mom thanks. I'll check it ASAP."
His mom ended the call and left him dumbfounded. He quickly went back to his dining area and found Julie looking at him.
"Hey is everything okay? You look tensed." Julie asked, worriedly.
"Uhm yeah I'm...fine. It's something. No need to worry." He smiled, convincing her to fall for it but he failed.
"Babe your eyes speak otherwise. Tell me what's happening."
He took a deep breath and started talking.
"Well mom called tapos sabi niya may pinost daw si Ella and it's making a buzz sa social media. Have you open your account?"
"Err hindi ako mahilig mag social media haha so no and I do not have applications ng mga yun sa phone ko." She shyly said.
"Better."
"But I wanna know what made you bothered. Parang it concerns me too ee."
"Well the truth is hindi ko pa rin nakikita yung post. Are you sure you'll be fine with this?"
"Of course babe. Hindi naman ako isip bata."
"I'm just keeping you from shock and I don't know, any possibility of weirdness?"
"Come on babe, sabay nating tignan." She chuckled as she said those.
Elmo sighed and finally took out his phone, went beside Julie and opened his twitter account. Nag-scroll sila sa may newsfeed and sinunod yung trends list.
