"Welcome to the House of Muppets! Coach Elmo Magalona will be meeting you in a few minutes but for the meantime, we would like to welcome our 2 new members, we have Julie Anne San Jose from Team Sarah and Rayver Cruz from Kamp Kawayan." They all applauded and Julie and Rayver both quickly went in front to further introduce themselves.
"Hello po. I am Julie Anne San Jose, from Quezon City po." She shyly said.
"Hi guys! I'm Rayver Cruz from Pasay City." He proudly said.
After their small introductions ay nagbigay ng ilang advices and instructions yung isa sa mga staff while Julie got to interact with Rayver.
"So galing ka pala kay Coach Sarah? Kumusta naman siya as a coach?" Rayver randomly asked facing her since magkatabi sila.
"Hmmm okay lang naman. She's so sweet and caring sa amin. Tapos sobrang calm niyang mag-coach at sadyang magaling." She smiled.
"How I wish I got to be coached by her." He said making Julie chuckle.
"Ano ka ba? You've been to Coach Bamboo din naman and I know he's also good. So the feeling is mututal." She said. Rayver's eyes grew bigger at what she said.
"So...M.U. na tayo?" He jokingly said, making Julie laugh and hit his right arm.
"Sira hahaha I mean yung feeling towards the coaches nako nako." She said, smiling at him.
Hindi nila namalayan na nakapasok na pala sa loob si Elmo and is now glaring at their area. Elmo loudly cleared his throat making Julie jump in surprise. He looked at her with so much jealousy, making her grin.
He then welcomed everyone.
"Welcome to the House of Muppets Rayver and Ms. San Jose." He said those with an emphasis on 'Ms. San Jose'.
Tumango lang si Rayver sa kanya while widely smiled at him.
"So for today, I would just want to talk to each of you kung ano yung song choice niyo for the knockouts. It is important for me to know your choices para ma-guide ko rin kayo sa mga gagawin niyo. The staff will be calling you one by one and I'll be meeting you sa isa sa mga room dito. Don't worry because the staff will guide you." He smiled.
Nagulat yung mga staff sa sinabi niya because it wasn't the initial plan. Dapat sana ay by twos silang papasok sa loob para mas madali but then he made another one. So imbes na mapapaikli yung time, mas mapapahaba.
The staff started calling everyone. Habang hindi pa sila natatawag, Julie and Rayver continued their conversation.
"You know what, napanood ko yung episode mo ng Blind audition! So into country songs ka pala?" Rayver asked.
"Ayy naku hindi naman. That's just my favorite song so yun yung kinanta ko pero sa Battles pang-belter yung pina-kanta sa amin ni coach Sarah." She said.
"Ohh I thought you're into country songs. Country song din kasi yung kinanta ko sa blind audition tapos hanggang sa Battles din yun yung pinakanta ni Coach Bamboo." Tinanguan lang siya ni Julie.
"Uhmm I was wondering if busy ka ba mamaya? Let's have some coffee?" Rayver asked her. Sasagot na sana ito ng biglang tawagin yung pangalan ni Julie.
"I'm sorry, tinawag na ako." She said, and ducked her head.
She haven't tried declining someone so hindi niya alam kung paano i-turn down yung aya ni Rayver since hindi rin naman siya manhid at alam niya na he's trying to hit her.
Kinakabahan si Julie na kumatok sa pinto and when she heard him gave the signal ay pumasok na ito.
"Uhm good afternoon po coach." She said, smiling at him pero blank lang yung tingin ni Elmo sa kanya.
"So Ms. San Jose, have you had fun chitchatting with your new found friend?" He gritted his teeth while saying those.
Julie looked at him with complete surprise painted on her face.
"Uhmm he's really funny." She said, ginatungan na yung nararamdaman ni Elmo. She seldom see Elmo look so jealous kasi masyado itong confident sa sarili.
"Oh really now? Is he funnier than me?"
"Moe saan papunta 'to?"
"I don't know Ms. San Jose, maybe he already asked you to go out after this." She chuckled at what he said.
"Ano'ng nakakatawa?"
She quickly went to him, closing their gap, and immediately pinched his two fluffy cheeks.
"Hmmm ang cute cute mong magselos. Ayan oh tignan mo yang butas ng ilong mo lumalaki." She giggled.
Hindi na napigilan ni Elmo na mapangiti.
"Stop talking to him."
"Wow ha? Yung overconfident na Elmo Magalona, mukhang threatened sa isang contestant?" He glared at her.
"Oh bakit? Hindi ba totoo?" She bit her lower lip, sending something to him.
"Fuck!" He said, now seduced by her. Julie let out a loud laugh. Alam niya kasi na tinablan ito sa ginawa niya, making him all red.
"Stop doing that Ms. San Jose. Kapag ako hindi nakapag-pigil..."
"What will the great Coach Elmo Magalona do with his protégé?" She sexily said.
"Stop it. Let's...uhmm Talk." He said, still distracted.
"Are we good now?" She said, still biting her lower lip.
"Fuck yes." He said, still in agony. She smiled at what he said.
"So the talk?" She said.
"Right right. Ano'ng song choice mo? Finally sasabihin mo rin. Sobrang tagal kitang kinulit kung ano ee."
"Well patience is a virtue Coach Elmo." She winked.
"Please hurry Ms. San Jose dahil may hangganan ang pagpipigil ko."
"Well naisip ko since you mostly picked songs na may rap noong battles, and you're trying to impose an image of rapstyle sa the voice, I picked Super Bass by Nicki Minaj."
"Wow that's...wonderful! Alam mo ba isusuggest ko rin sana 'yang mga ganyang song? As of now kasi wala pang pumipili ng rap song so I am amazed at yours." He proudly said.
"Halika nga dito, gusto na kitang yakapin." Elmo opened his arms but Julie just smiled.
"Why? What's the matter Ms. San Jose? I am commanding you as your coach."
"Well coach, I doubt the hug would help me win this competition."
"Really now?" Julie nodded at what he said.
"Very well...kiss na lang kita." Lalapit na sana si Elmo ng biglang kumatok yung staff niya, making both of them jump at their place.
"Ayan sige harot pa Magalona." She said.
"Coach andiyan na po yung susunod." The staff said, still at the other side of the door.
"Humanda ka sa akin after nito." He glared at Julie.
"I will wait for it Coach Elmo." She winked again. Fuck, he thought.
Lumabas na si Julie at pumasok yung susunod sa kanya. She found Rayver still seating while playing his phone.
"Hey Julie! So...uhmm..."
"Hey!"
"So uhmm...have you thought of what I said?" He scratched his head.
"Uhmm what were you talking about? I'm sorry medyo pre-occupied ako kanina." She said, smiling.
"Uhmm I was...I was asking you out."
"Ohhh. I'm sorry Rayver, may nauna kasi ako'ng lakad ee. Maybe next time?" She said. He just nodded at what she said.
