"I'll get ready na rin. I'll see you at the Studio Juls. Chill ka lang ha? You will do great today."
"Thanks Moe. I'll see you there." Julie ended the call and immediately went to her closet to look for the perfect outfit she'll wear.
After 30 minutes of preparing, she decided to go down and meet her family. Sabay sabay silang pupunta sa studio ng The Voice para manood ng Battles nito.
"You look so good Juls!" Her ate Dei hugged her.
"Thanks ate!" She smiled.
"Good luck ate!" Joana cheered as they all head towards their garage, getting in to their separate cars.
She's nervous while driving. Kasama niya sa loob ng sasakyan si Joana while their kuya RJ and ate Dei are on the other car. Kasunod nila ang isang kotse ng mga body guard nila.
"Chill ka lang ate, baka mabangga tayo sa kaba mo huy. Ako na lang kaya ang mag-drive?"
"Sure ka? Sorry na Jo, hindi ko mapigilan kabahan ee." She stopped the car and they switched places.
"You'll be great ate! Ikaw kaya ang naka-mana sa vocal skills ni daddy."
"Naku huwag niyo ng mabanggit banggit si daddy kasi mas napre-pressure ako. Feeling ko bababa siya sa langit para lang sapakin ako kapag nagkamali ako." They both laugh at what Julie said.
"Naalala mo noon? Mapapagalitan pa ako kapag wala ako sa tono every time he plays his guitar tas aayain niya akong kumanta."
"Oo! Kawawa ka nun, buti na lang hindi nagmanifest yung kagandahan ng boses ko noong mga bata tayo ate or else nadamay pa ako sa dark side ng childhood mo!"
"Wow naman sa dark side! Hahaha pero na-enjoy ko rin yung bonding namin na yun ni daddy. Kahit magagalit siya kapag magfla-flat ako o magkakamali ng note."
They both reminisce more of their dad and all the memories they had when they were still kids.
"Tignan mo ngayon ate, you'll be fulfilling one of daddy's dream! Magiging isang sikat na singer ka na."
"Sira! Hindi pa tayo sure diyan. Mas lalo tuloy ako'ng na-pressure."
"Kalma ka lang huy, oh andito na tayo."
Mas tumindi pa yung kabog ng dibdib ni Julie as she goes out of the car. Nahagilap niya agad si Mackie na pumapasok sa artists' lounge, yung area kung saan sila maghihintay kapag hindi pa nila turn.
"Jo, I have to go na. Basta follow my instructions para makapasok kayo agad ha? Sa may audience lane kayo dadaan. Ipakita niyo yung pass para papasukin kayo agad."
"Teka hindi mo na hihintayin sila kuya?"
"I have to go na Jo, basta ha yung instructions ko. Hintayin mo na rin sila Maqui, papunta na rin daw."
"Sige ate, huy galingan mo ha? Halika nga dito te! I am so proud of you." Joana hugged her sister. Pagkatapos ng ilang minutong yakapan ay nagpaalam na si Julie para pumasok na sa loob.
"Mackie!" Sigaw nito.
"Uy Juls! Grabe kinakabahan na ako. Galingan natin!" They both hugged each other and giggled their excitement and nervousness.
"Hey there you are! Handa na ba kayo?" Sarah approached them.
"Coach! Super kinakabahan po!" Mackie said and Julie nodded in agreement.
"Don't be! Basta give all your best ha? Hihingi na rin ako ng sorry sakaling may hindi ako mapili na isa sainyo. This too is the hardest part para sa akin. Pero don't think of it please, both of you are already great!" Sarah said.
