I haven't done a proper wolf au so here we go

Jimin was humming to himself as he picked some plump, juicy wildberries into his basket. The forest smelled fresh, it had rained the night before and the morning dew wet the young wolf's fingertips.

It was going to be the pack Luna's, Jimin's mother's, birthday the next day, and the boy wanted to get her a basketful of her favorite berries.

"Hmh," the boy huffed, getting up from the ground and dusting his pants. He popped one berry into his mouth before running his hand through his black hair. "I think this is enough."

A loud rustle from behind him made Jimin jump, head snapping over his shoulder to inspect the noise. The male's heart came to a stop when he saw the eyes of a bear peer into him.

Jimin dropped the basket when the bear growled.

The raven took shaky steps back, fear creeping up his spine. There weren't supposed to be bears in this part of the forest.

"Go away," Jimin whispered, tears gathering in his eyes. The bear roared, its sharp teeth framing its big mouth. "Leave me alone," he then shouted.

The bear roared again, getting threateningly close to the raven with its blood-thirsty eyes. Jimin didn't have time to take his clothes off before he shifted into his wolf form and began running, leaving the torn pieces of cloth along with his basket behind.

Jimin had run for a long time, and it didn't seem like the bear was giving up until it had a taste of his blood. He heard the beast behind him, its growls terrifyingly close. The wolf was getting tired, he wasn't that used to long runs.

The male wailed loudly when his paw sank into the moss beneath him, making him roll over. The bear was on him right the next moment, big claws digging into Jimin's black fur and his side.

Jimin cried from the pain, thrashing under the grizzly bear and trying to break free.

Was this how he was going to die?

Then a loud growl of a wolf erupted. The bear rumbled and turned around from the disturbance, leaving Jimin to bleed on the forest floor. The boy saw how a big gray wolf showed its teeth before attacking the beast, those same teeth sinking into the bear's neck. The bear growled and threw the wolf down. Jimin saw the blood coating the wolf's teeth, saw it getting up and challenging the bigger animal again.

The wolf attacked, giving the bear another bite accompanied by threatening growls. It kept biting until the bear had had enough, and with a final roar, it sauntered off.

Jimin whimpered and tried to reach his wounds with his tongue to lick them, but he couldn't crane his neck enough. He was so far away from home and he had no idea which way to go. And in his wounded state, it would be dangerous, too.

You're hurt. Let me help you, my pack lives in this territory.

Jimin turned to look at the gray wolf who was taking careful steps toward him.

Thank you for saving me, he responded carefully, slightly wary of the stranger. What pack are you from? Jimin was thankful to the other for saving his life, but he wasn't going to go to a pack his own didn't trust. He could lose his life that way, too.

Jeon, the other said, stopping in front of him. And you?

Park, Jimin huffed in relief. The Alpha of his pack, his father, had a good relationship with the Jeon pack.
