This takes place some years in the future (unless you are reading this from the future lol). Also Metallica reference in the title (I switched it up a little tho) :D
The happy couple was full of giggles as they entered their shared apartment. It was close to midnight as they took off their shoes and flicked on the lights. Bam rushed to his dads and Jungkook crouched to pet the dog.
"Did you miss us?" Jungkook asked with a cooing voice. "I missed you too, but appa and Jimin appa were on a date without kids tonight." He pressed a kiss on Bam's forehead and the dog barked happily. "Good boy!" The man stood back up and smiled when the dog greeted Jimin as well.
"Hey, cutie," Jimin singsonged. "Do you need to go out, still?" Bam turned to trot back to the living room. "No? Okay," he laughed. Jungkook's arm wrapped around his waist and he was pulled against the taller's body.
"Hi," Jungkook whispered, booping their noses together and smiling when his boyfriend giggled.
"Hi," Jimin echoed. He rested his hands on the younger's chest and looked into his glimmering eyes. "You look handsome," he said with a small grin.
"You look quite incredible as well," the younger man chuckled, leaning down to kiss Jimin's full lips. "Happy anniversary.""Happy 10th anniversary, my love."
Jungkook sat on the couch in his underwear and a black satin robe. He was freshly out of the shower, dark hair blow-dried to fall over his forehead in fluffy waves. Bam had gotten up from his bed and climbed on the couch next to his master, his head resting on Jungkook's thigh. The man caressed the dog's head while waiting for his lover to join him. Jimin was still in the shower. Neither of them had said it out loud, but they didn't need to. Their anniversaries always ended with some sexy time. Today, though, Jungkook had some extra plans. The TV was on playing some late-night cooking show.
Soft footsteps caught Jungkook's attention and the man turned his head toward the stairs. He had seen Jimin in all types of outfits, from stage costumes and concept and brand photoshoots, normal tees and sweats and pajamas to several different styles of lingerie. Still, even after ten years of them dating, seeing Jimin descend to the living room in a matching black robe and glorious thighs on full display made his breath get stuck in his throat.
"You look gorgeous," he breathed out as the raven walked toward the couch. Jimin's lips were stretched into a mischievous smile as he plopped down next to his boyfriend, Jungkook's arm wrapping around him as he leaned against the bigger body.
"Thank you," Jimin said, cupping Jungkook's jaw to smooch his cheek. He smiled widely before snuggling to the other's side and cooing at Bam who was dozing off. "Thank you for today, too. You didn't need to pay for such an expensive dinner all by yourself. I enjoyed it, though."
"You're welcome, babe. And I don't mind at all. You know I love spoiling you to bits," Jungkook chuckled, nosing Jimin's apple-scented hair. "I'm glad you liked it. I reserved the table like almost ten months ago. But it had to be done because you deserve the best." He kissed the older's forehead when he turned to look at him. Jimin's hand reached out to thread through his hair, and the man craned his neck to connect their lips. They made out slowly, softly caressing each other.
"Shall we go to bed?" Jimin asked quietly, bottom lip between his teeth. When Jungkook nodded, he grabbed the remote and turned off the TV. The younger man gently shook Bam awake, apologizing to him while moving his head off his lap. The dog yawned before sleepily pacing back to his bed and lying down. Jungkook was watching his dear pet with a smile on his face when he felt Jimin getting up. He turned to look at him and giggled when the smaller male held out his hand. He took the tiny hand in his and let himself get pulled to his feet. Jimin giggled as well, his expression giddy as he tugged Jungkook upstairs to their bedroom.
