Chapter 32

I started to drive while the tinted window were open, I'm feeling the cold breeze and nice scent of the baguio. I started to wander my eyes around the place, kitang kita ko ang ganda ng mga ilaw ng lungsod mula sa itaas.

Hindi ko alam kung bakit ba dito ako agad dumeretso. This is my safe escape. For I can see the city lights from here, the bright and shining beautiful lights at night.

Ilang taon ko rin iniwasan na makita ito. I don't know but I hate it when I'm seeing this especially when I'm still in Paris. I'd rather go sleep at the car and let Wyn drive than to see it. I'd rather go back to my condo early.

It brought me a thousands of memories that I don't want to remember. For I don't want them to become another scar and fear for me. I'm still trying to protect the memories we made, at those times that I'm so happy.

Kahit wala na sa tabi ko 'yong tao na 'yon. Kahit alaala na lang sana namin ang manatili.

But today is different, I won't run away. Dito ko pa nga unang naisip na pumunta. Wala e, gusto ko maramdaman ulit ang pakiramdam na meron ako noon. Does it remain the same?

Lumabas ako sa kotse ko, I can't go further. Hanggang dito lang sa ngayon ang kaya ko. I want to shout at this place that I can face him without a fear of losing on his vast ocean eyes.

Sumandal ako sa hood nitong kotse ko at tumingin na lang sa madilim na langit. I'm still feeling it, the cold breeze embracing me softly. Finally, this is feels like I'm home.

"Nice view, go there, mahal." I heard a guy said.

Minulat ko ang mga mata ko dahil sa narinig, nakita ko ang malapad na pagngiti nang babae sa tabi nito dahil sa sinabi nang lalaki. Mahal, what a cute endearment.

I'm now in the bridge alike, I'm sipping in my coffee while looking around all alone. Umiwas na ako ng tingin sa kanila pero kita ko mula sa peripheral view ko na napatingin sa akin ang dalawang magkasintahan.

"Miss, pwede bang magpapicture?"

I looked at them, nakangiti silang pareho sa akin. They look nice together, tho.

"Sure." Umayos ako ng tayo.

Binitawan ko na muna ang coffee na hawak ko at kinuha ang camera na inabot nila sa akin. I made sure to take a lot of shots with a smile on my lips. I know they are still a strangers to me but I'm happy for them.

They look happy on each other's arms.

Suddenly, they reminds me of something. Natigilan ako at nawala ang ngiti ko, halata naman na nabahala sila sa naging reaksyon ko kaya binalik ko ulit ang ngiti sa labi ko.

"Miss? Miss? Ayos ka lang ba?" Nag-aalala na tanong nang babae bago ako nilapitan.

My mind isn't focus on what I'm doing and I didn't even noticed it. Nilingon ko silang dalawa at pinosisyon ko na ang sarili upang kuhanan sila ulit ng litrato.

"Ah, yeah. I'm fine." Ngiti ko sa kanila at tinuro na ang lugar niya. "I'll take few more shots from there, you look good together."

That made their smile even got wider. Ayan tuloy mas lalong gumanda ang naging kuha ko dahil totoo ang mga ngiti nilang dalawa habang nakatingin lang sa isa't isa.

Inabot ko na ang DSLR nila. They checked it.

"Are they good?" Magalang na tanong ko.

"Yes, they are, thank you!" The girl smiled widely. "May I know your name Miss?"

"Sachleia." I smiled.

"I'm Haria, this is my boyfriend, Alvaro." He pointed at the guy who just smiled a me. I did the same. "Salamat, Sachleia!" Masiglang saad ni Haria, shinake hands ang kamay ko.
