Hinatid na ako ni Xavier sa studio. I thanked him for taking me out and for the ride narin. I told him na magkita kita na lang kami nila ni Wyn sa may Utopia after ko rito sa work.

I went working as usual, I spent my whole day working to a new design, sketching, checking my emails and draping. May mga nagpick up din na mga customers ng dress nila kanina.

Kakatapos lang namin kumain sa labas ng dinner ng mga kasama ko sa studio. I kept my promise to them the last time. I really enjoyed their accompany, pabalik na kami sa studio.

Pagpasok namin sa studio, naupo ako sa may sofa at sumunod silang umupo. Pinamahagi na ni Casper ang binili niyang beer in can sa nadaanan naming sari-sari store kanina.

"What will you do if your ex told you that he still loves you?" I randomly asked Amela, "What would you do when you two kissed?" I asked, kaso mukhang narinig din ng lahat.

Napatingin sila sa akin habang nanlalaki ang mga mata, mabilis akong kabadong umiling. Telling them that wasn't about me. Kahit naman kasama ko sila sa trabaho, I won't tell them that Axel is my ex-boyfriend.

I don't want brag about it.

"This thing happened to my..." I trailed it off to reasoned out. Who the fuck then?! "Uh, to my friend!" I nodded to convince them more.

Napatango tango sila lalong lalo na si Avanah na malapad na ang ngisi, she fake a cough to clear her throat. Tumayo ito at naglakad palapit na para bang expert siya sa ganito.

Napangisi agad ako.

"Clarify it to me how the two of them broke up." Kalmado niyang sambit bago ngumisi. "Then, I will tell you my opinion based on how I handled those experiences." She winked.

Rinig ko agad ang reklamo nila Amela sa sinabi nito kaya natawa na lang ako ng mahina bago uminom sa beer in can. Napataas naman ang kilay ni Avanah sa kanila bago ito sumimangot.

"Ano na naman?!" Inis nitong tanong.

"I don't want to burst your bubble but wala ka naman naging ex, Avi." Singit ni Ligaya bago ito sumimangot. "Mahal mo pa? Pero hindi ba't kaya kayo naghiwalay? Kasi you guys failed to protect your relationship before?"

That when it hits me. Natigilan ako pero hindi ko masyadong pinahalata na apektado ako sa sinabi ni Ligaya. I got her point.

Bakit ba kasi ang make sense ng sinabi niya? Pero hindi ba pwedeng i-try 'yon ulit? Malay mo ngayon mas strong na ang foundation? That's the reason why second chances exist.

To correct the mistakes and where you failed in your relationship, not to repeat it.

"May point," I said but when I realized she was pertaining to me, I pouted. "It's my friend!"

Napailing si Amela. She snapped her fingers in air, para bang handa na akong sermonan. At this moment, I already know they're being comfortable around me. That's a relief then.

"Miss Sachleia, kahit ano naman ang sabihin namin, the answer is still yours." Amela said. "I mean doon sa friend mo pala. If I said to your friend to not going back to the man who hurted her. Susunod ba siya? Hindi, 'di ba?"

"True!" Singit ni Avanah. "Pero why do your friend wasting time asking? You can correct the mistakes of past or if not, at least try to move forward from it, to take one step at a time."
