I tried to recall what I did that night, I failed since I was too drunk to remember. I can't focus and it started to frustrate me. Nalukot ko tuloy ang papeles na binabasa ko kanina, it was too late for me to regret crumpling it.

I saw Axel at the The Eight and I lost shit. I'm still trying to collect the missing part of my memories. Ano, kapag lasing ka ba talaga instant amnesia lang? Napangiwi ako.

"Are you done with that, Miss Alcureza?" Tanong ni Miss Lorie sa akin, secretary ni Jeena. "If not, take your time." Ngiti nito.

Nilingon ko ito at ngumiti. I'm still trying to flattening the crumpled resume.

Gosh, I'm losing it!

"Yeah, I'm done so get it." Utos ko at inabot rito ang lukot parin ngunit mas maayos na kesa kanina na resume. "To be followed na lang ang iba. Make sure to keep them safe for me. Thanks!" Nakangiting dugtong ko pa.

Wala sa sariling napainom ako ng tubig, I'm still composing myself. I made it clear the last time that I'll stop punshing myself at the thoughts of him. Hindi healthy para sa akin.

I looked at my wrist watch, it's almost lunch break. We are conducting an interview and hiring a new staffs that I'll work with from now on. Tinignan ko ang mga portfolio ng mga nag-apply, I smiled after seeing they also have a potential on designing clothes.

Tinabi ko na muna ang mga 'yon at binasa ko ang natitirang resume ng mga applicant. They are good I must say but most of them are still fresh graduates.

Inabot ko na kay Jeena ang huling resume na hawak ko. I told her to choose by their skills, not on their working experience.

If I choose based on working experiences, what about those new yet skilled fresh graduates applicant? Lahat naman tayo ay deserve na maipakita ang mga kakayahan natin. In all aspect. So, I will give them a chance to cast and improve their skills.

She checked it clearly before placing it on the above of the other. Suprisingly, she's here with her secretary to assist me. We're not in good terms but I don't know why she's doing this.

"Water." I said and pushed the bottled water on her side. "It's hot so drink it." I added.

Masyadong mainit sa labas, so, we decided to do it at the waiting area. Pansin ko pa na napangiti ito nang tumingin na sa akin. I raised my brows at her.

"What?" I didn't mean to be sounds so annoyed about her presence.

"Thanks." Nakangisi niyang saad.

Hindi na ako nagsalita pa at tinanguan na lang ito. I think everything will be good to be this way. Matagal ko narin naman nang pinutol ang koneksyon na meron ako rito.

Hindi nakatakas sa paningin ko ang paggala ng mata nito sa kabuohan ng studio. Kita ko ang ibang emosyon sa mata nito, by her gaze and what I can see on her eyes, I know that she is judging me. Tumikhim siya at umayos na ng upo nang magtama ang tingin namin.

What was that? Umiwas ako ng tingin bago palihim na napairap. Ininom ko na lang ang natitara pang tubig sa bottled water ko.

"Mom's order?" I asked, I pursed my lips together. "To help me here?" Tukoy ko.

Tinapon ko sa trash can ang bottle nito. I watched her signing something. Tumingin ito saglit bago walang sabi sabing umirap.

I guess she quit pretending to be kind in front of me now. Well that's good for her. Atleast she can live her life the way she wants it to be, well, unlike before.

"It's my choice," She pouted, pinatong nito ang papeles na tinatapos niya sa ibabaw ng iba pa bago 'yon marahan na tinapik tapik. "I hope I will be a big help for you, Sachi."
