I sighed before I went near to accompany him, I offered him a cup of coffee. He took it without losing his approachable and delicate smile.
"Thanks," He smiled before sipping on it. "This taste good, btw." Puri niya pa sa kape ko.
I just smiled to credits his praise.
"What a busy actor doing in my studio?" I asked, raising a brow. "Do you have an appointment with me, Mr. Trevan Carsten?"
Naupo rin ako sa harapan nito kahit na may nakaipit na pencil sa tainga ko.
"Gan'yan kana ha," Pagd-drama nito, napangiwi agad ako. "Kinalimutan mo na ako."
"I'm working," Nguso ko. "At kilala kita, ikaw si Evan." Pilosopong dugtong ko pa.
Hindi ko sinasadya at napatingin ako sa may likuran nito which is ang pintuhan ng studio ko. Mukhang napansin niya kaya mas lalong lumapad ang ngisi nito.
"Ako lang mag-isa," Ngisi niya.
"Hindi ko tinatanong." Agap ko.
Tumikhim siya at napailing na lang. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang dahilan ng pagpunta niya. Chineck kong muli ang size ng huling clients ko na pumunta. Nilipat ko sa susunod na pahina upang tignan kung kumpleto ba ang mga ito.
"Axel—"
Napa-angat ako ng tingin pagkarinig ko pa lang ng pangalan ni Axel. I voiced out my thoughts.
"What? Putol ko.
I didn't even realized that it took my interest immediately. Rinig ko ang malakas na tawa ni Evan dahil sa naging asta ko. Seriously? Pumunta ba siya rito para lang huliin ako?
It's always my mouth, tho.
"It wasn't about him," Tawa niya parin. "My older brother is getting married next month."
Gusto ko siyang sipain palabas ngunit pinigilan ko ang sarili ko. What he said took my interest further. I listened to him.
"And? Tell me the details."
"They asked me to meet you here.." Pambibitin nito pero bigla siyang nagseryoso nang makuha ko siya sa sama ng tingin ko. He cleared his throat. "My brother's fiance want you to be their designer of her gown." He explained.
I agreed after he told me the details. I said to Evan that I will look forward to it. Umalis na ito at sinabi na may photoshoot pa siya na kailangan puntahan. Pagabi na nang lumabas ako ng studio, feeling exhausted after making a pattern and draping two of my clients' gown.
I met Xavier at the near restaurant that night and we eat together after he asked me for meet up. I noticed he's quiet and his deep thoughts.
"May problema ba? Sa site?" Tanong ko rtio habang pauwi na kami, hindi niya ako pinansin which made confirmed that he's focusing on something else. "Hoy, Xavier!" I tapped his arms, he flinced a little.
Weird.
"Huh?" Tanong nito, he smiled. "What is it?"
"Wala! Hindi ka naman nakikinig, e!"
