HYUNJIN's POINT OF VIEW
(previous chapter)

—————

She sighed longingly, her eyes skimming over the work sheets her boss had given her, a massive pile forming as she placed each down. Earlier, She had to file a report on a recent incident that included their company, and now she had to write ideas down for tomorrow's collaboration meeting. Hyunjin called bullshit.

"HEY! YERIM! Come here real quick"

Yerim, the girl who was called, turned her head to see the pleading girl before her. "Yeah? What Hyunjin?" Yerim spoke, picking up her cup of coffee that was essential to keep her motivated till tonight, walking over to Hyunjin's wooden desk.

Yerim was, no doubt, Hyunjin's closest friend. Rumours spread throughout their company that they were secretly sisters, twins to be exact. And, to her luck, Yerim would also be attending the dreaded meeting.

"Please help me with these!" She whined, shoving the papers into Yerim's face. Startled, Yerim peeled the paper away from her vision. "Ew no way, you're kidding me! I'm packed for tonight, just get Jiwoo to do it, she wouldn't refuse." Hyunjin cocked her head to the side, a brow raised."There's someone called jiwoo here?" She asked, "Yes! you're so stupid," the purple haired girl spoke, pointing her finger into the destined direction, "That's her! Anyway, now I have to registrar boss' info for a client because Jinsoul won't do it, you know how she is."

Hyunjin simply rolled her eyes, shooing her off with her hand, "Yeah yeah, have fun!" she laughed, looking back at the papers that slowly but surely drifted to the floor in a messy state.

—————

"And..." Hyunjin stretched out her word, pressing the last letter on the keyboard that completed her report. "Done- ouch!"

Hyunjin complained out of the blue, harshly bringing her hand up to her forehead. Ignoring the sharp pain, despite being conflicted, she had chosen to read over the sheets of papers, on topics she should plan over and give ideas for. "They really expect me to finish this all today? The requirements of the do's and don'ts are like 50 pages long, and I'm too stupid to come up with ideas, for God's sake!" Hyunjin muttered to herself, stress overcoming her, thankfully under her breath. The last thing she wanted was anyone snaking on her lack off energy.

In her misery, she scoffed at herself. When she signed up for this job, she didn't expect to be working as hard as she does.

As she placed the papers down, another pain came to her head. Instead, she caught sight of an image.

—————

"Hey, don't steal that, it's so special to me!" a school girl with black hair shouted to her friend, one with brown hair, who teased her passionately about a small polaroid that was hidden in her pencil case. "No way! I think it's cute how you keep this picture of us! Plus if I lose it we can always take another one!" she said back, sticking out her tongue and waving the polaroid in the air. The other girl huffed as she crossed her arms. "Fine" she said, sending a deadly yet joking glare right in her friend's direction. "I'm just going to leave then!" She picked up her school bag and walked towards the exit of the classroom. The brown haired panicked, a cold sweat trickling down her forehead. "Wait!" She ran after her, luckily, the black haired girl didn't manage to leave quite yet, "You can have it back!" She shoved it into her friend's hands. The other girl giggled. "Thanks!" she turned around, a peach blush staining her cheeks.
