without turning back, haseul immediately ran out of heejins office, but of course leaving with giving the young, crying girl who was sitting at her desk reassurance first.

haseul was furious, in fact she was more than furious. she was beyond it. she was so mad to the point she couldn't breathe anymore. all the fumes and emotions sucked up, blocking her airways. her fists were clenched as she exited the building onto the main road. she didn't care where she'd walk to. she just wanted to find sooyoung and hyunjin.

she knew sooyoung very well. they used to be quite close during their school days. people would even call them the closer than closest. surprising, they were that much of friends. but what exactly happened to sooyoung and why she had an immediate change of heart, was something haseul was never able to find out. just one day, sooyoung was insanely rude, a whole bitch, to haseul. but sooyoung not only changed her attitude to haseul, but also to others. she started to hurt them, but mentally. sooyoung was never good at physical activities. she was weak. but her words were strong. she started hanging out with what everyone called 'bad people.' haseul wouldn't even give a second chance to sooyoung if there was an opportunity. not even in a life or death situation. that's how much she hurt haseul. and if she could choose her friends better when she were younger, then she would. so that she wouldn't be in the situation she is right now, and so that she wouldn't have to feel as mad.

haseul walked where ever her mind would take her. she went to places they used to hang out during high school, hoping shed be there. but she never was. haseul huffed in frustration, as she kicked the brick wall next to her and leaned on it. then out of nowhere, she heard 2 voices speaking.

2 familiar voices.

2 girls voices.

she quickly hid behind a box that was placed along side the road, as she peeped her head out from the corner. these people may have been completely random people. but it's a bit embarrassing to be found leaning on a wall, in work attire, whilst you look rather mad.

but to haseuls surprise, she did know these girls. it was none other than who she had been looking for the whole time. sooyoung and hyunjin. walking together, with their hands intertwined softly. softly. they were chuckling, as sooyoung glanced at hyunjin from time to time, like she was 'in love.'

but haseul soon realised, they were getting closer, and they'd walk past the box she was hiding behind. now that is even more embarrassing. she quickly got up, fixing her trousers, as she pretended to be walking from the other way. this way it wouldn't be strange to find haseul over here, and so that she could accidentally bump into the girls.

and just as she planned, haseul bumped shoulders with one of the girls. specifically hyunjin. "hey look where you're going." a voice none other than ha sooyoung's said. this made haseul turn around as she chuckled. "sorry, didn't see your girlfriend there." she crossed her arms, as she stood face to face with the girls in front of her. "haseul?" sooyoung questioned. quite shocked. even if it were a few years from when they had last seen each other, haseul was never the type to be out this late, the only time she'd be found roaming around at this time was if she was coming home from something important or went to a friends house for a long time.

"ha sooyoung." haseul replied shortly, still maintaining her calm yet cool imagine. but inside she was extremely mad at the sight before her eyes. "what a pleasure to see you here." she give the taller girl a small, sarcastic smile. before moving her gaze over to hyunjin. "and kim hyunjin, fancy seeing you here, right?" hyunjin shuffled awkwardly, and she gulped. "h-hi haseul." she nervously said, looking down towards the ground. "hi to you too, cheater." hyunjin immediately looked up, her eyes widening. "cheater?" she asked, surprised, but still unsure and nervous. "you know exactly what i mean, hyunjin." haseul smirked, walking closer towards hyunjin. "poor heejin was crying, my heart was broken, but hers was more broken thanks to you." that may have been a low thing for haseul to say, but hyunjin deserved such harsh words. for once, she felt confident, ignoring the shocked sooyoung who was frozen next to you hyunjin. haseul was never confident in school. what a sight to see. "do you feel great for what you did hyunjin? are you proud?" haseul then asked, still focusing and maintaining eye contact with the awkward hyunjin. there was a gap of silence, hyunjin fiddled with her fingers, trying to think of something to say back. haseul rolled her eyes. "fancy being confident doing something but when the time comes down to being caught you're not confident anymore." she scoffed, as she unfocused her gaze off of hyunjin. "you disgust me, i gave you mine and heejins trust only for you to break it." hyunjin averted nee head to looking down once more, but this time from shame and embarrassment. what was she going to do. she had only now realised she had hurt heejin so very bad when someone confronted her about it.

"well," haseul spoke once again from the last time, "i think i should get going now, i have to get back to taking care of heejin. have a great date you guys." she waved at them, turning her back and walking off into an unknown direction in the distance.

sooyoung and hyunjin stood in silence for a bit, unsure of what to say to each other. it was awkward between them for once. haseuls words must've really had an effect on them.
finally, hyunjin cleared her throat, as she stood up straight and looked towards sooyoung. "sorry sooyoung, i don't think we should really talk anymore." there was a slight passed, as sooyoung stared at the shorter girl with a 'why' expression. "since, i was being stupid. but now i realise that things won't go far with us." hyunjin continued, as she refused to meet her eyes with the girl towering over her. "uhm so... bye..." hyunjin said, slightly removing herself from the scene as she awkwardly waved her hand. once she was far enough, she quickly run towards her closest train station.
