Heejin sighed immensely, her alarm booming with an irritating sound. Yet, she didn't want to get up. Thoughts roaming around her head, truthfully she still wasn't over the experience last night. It was still so vivid in her head, she could almost feel the moment.

Soon, she forced herself out of the comfort of her sheets, revising the schedule of her heavy day of work ahead. Meetings with new companies for projects and collaborations were never easy, they took up effort, and was never something Heejin took an automatic liking to. She brushed her teeth, extra hard from built up stress, and got dressed, the silky black suit she chose hugging her body.

Maids around her house equipped her with daily necessities. It was important to them, to anyone in fact, that Heejin remained healthy and well, pocketing her with medicines and reminding her to drink enough water throughout the day. "Thank you" Heejin smiled warmly, clasping her hands together in appreciation as her eyes curved into crescents, receiving a polite nod back.

"Excuse me- Miss Jeon? Would you like us to drive you there, you're already well-" The maid stopped mid sentence, glancing down at her blinging watch, "A little over time, we don't want you to be late."

Heejin never liked to bother her maids, they were always helping her without much breaks. Therefore, when it came to things she could do by herself with ease, she'd leave them alone. However, the clock was ticking, allowing her to give in.

"Are you feeling better today?" Haseul queried, her hands letting go of a clipboard piled with information, watching as it slid perfectly onto the desk. "Yeah, yeah, I'm doing alright," Heejin shot back, "I managed to sleep well last night at least."

"Well, that's a good thing to hear, you know how much I care about you, I seriously don't want you getting those headaches again..." Haseul trailed off, the thought of the younger's pain still extremely worried her.

"I hope so as well" Heejin mumbled under her breath, flipping through the papers attached to the clipboard.

Almost out of nowhere, a loud 'ding' went off. "Oh, that must be the company, right!" Haseul headed towards the phone hung on the wall, you could see as it physically rung. "Heejin, I'll tell Vivi to let them in." Without looking, Heejin nodded. The clipboard flopped down onto her desk, whilst the CEO attempted to appear profesional in her seat. Faintly, she could hear Haseul and Vivi's conversation whilst they talked back and forth. Gulping, a sudden wave of nervousness and uncertainty drowned Heejin, she blinked her eyes repeatedly, as if she were gasping for air underneath the suffocating feeling.

"Uh- Haseul?"

With her face all smiley, Haseul faced Heejin, only for the grin to be replaced with a puzzled look.

"I'm just gonna go to the toilet real quick, if that's okay?" Immediately, Haseul gave her a thumbs up, returning to her conversation over the phone.
—————

"And, here is the CEO's office." Proudly, Vivi exclaimed, her two hands pushing open the doors that led to Heejin's room. Eyes brighter than the stars, the guests eyes shined in awe, taking in the fact the office alone was much bigger than their whole building.

Clearing her throat, Vivi turned around to face them, she laughed slightly, an awkward one, "Please, treat Heejin, our boss well, she hasn't been feeling the best lately, and..." Vivi leaned in closer, whispering, "She's quite young so she gets grumpy quickly, don't disappoint her, I'll be rooting for you guys!" Without allowing any free time for questions, Vivi turned her back to the guests, leaving the room to stop Yeojin from creating any mischief whilst Haseul simply waved goodbye, shutting the door behind her.

The guests stood blank, unsure what to do with theirselves. "Oh! Uhm..." Haseul widened her eyes, rushing over to them, "Take a seat! The boss just went to handle something, she'll be back soon." The assistant pulled out three chairs for the guests, receiving a thank you as they gladly took a seat.

Without a doubt, the atmosphere was obviously awkward. Silence filled the area, becoming slightly tense. Haseul and her cheerful self wasn't a fan of it, she began slowly pacing around the corner of the room, biting her lip as she tried to think of something to do.

The toilet door opened forcefully, revealing Heejin who stood tall with overflowing confidence. Clearing her throat, she sat down, the chair moving from its original place slightly.

"Hello," Heejin beamed, looking up, "I'm Jeon Heejin as you may know, thank you for coming today, I've been wanting to do this company collaboration for sometime now, and on behalf of the company I can assure you that this will be successful." Placing her arm in front, she shook hands with who she assumed was the other company's boss, a charming smile plastered across her face.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Jeon Heejin," The other boss began, letting go from the handshake, "Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Kim Jungeun, the owner and boss of the KJ company, I'm glad our companies have reached out to do this and thank you for allowing us to work with you, we are very aware you are more than just successful, so this is a real honour for us to be working with you." Though she seemed tough, Jungeun smiled genuinely back at the younger.

Letting out a quiet gasp, Jungeun realised as she almost forgot to introduce her two workers she brought with her.

"Ah, and I forgot to mention the two girls beside me, you see, I thought it would be better if I brung along with me two of my employees." Jungeun glanced to her sides, "The one on my left is Choi Yerim, she has been in the business game for a while now, and is an amazing business maker, and the one to my right, is Kim Hyunjin, she is my most hard working employee, and never disappoints, I think both of them will really get along with you."

Although she almost lost herself from talking so much, Kim Jungeun had regained her attention onto the main reason she was here, Heejin.

"Thank you for bringing them today." Shortly, Heejin replied. She didn't make the effort to introduce herself neither Haseul, she was already aware of the fact that the girls in front of her knew who the both of them were very well.

Once again, Heejin allowed herself to smile sweetly; this time at Yerim, the overjoyed girl grinned back. Then, she looked into Hyunjin's direction, giving her the same gleam she gave to Yerim, though, seeing Hyunjin sparked a familiar feeling in her chest. Smiles fading ever so slowly, they locked eyes together.
