[13] a sudden catch

it was all going well for the newly born "couple." yes, like normal people, they would come to a few disagreements, but at the end of the day when they thought about it, they would just laugh it off like the stupid, young and dumb people they were. it was going absolutely swell if you asked me, the good thing was that due to a change, there were never any of those memories or flashbacks anymore. but in all honestly, though it was something they wanted to get away from, to leave behind, they did miss witnessing their selves in their past lives. but that was the catch wasn't it? there is always a catch to everything. you have to face something to get what you want, there can be an easy way in, but never an easy way out. you'll find the door is much more smaller from when you had first entered the room. and with in time, you will not be able to walk out. but, if this was the catch the two girls would be risking. the surely, they'd gladly do it. right? well,

that isn't the only catch now.

hyunjins eyes were always on heejin. they never left. she was so in love to the point they'd follow heejin to the ends of the earth. whenever she could, she would take the chance to stare at the brown haired girls perfect figure. that was, until, she found her eyes planted on someone else. not to mention, heejin was too into her own world, and into the plan that she didn't notice hyunjins eyes slowly shifting over to some other new chick. this wasn't how it was meant to be? the plan heejin made was perfect it was clear. yet hyunjin found herself falling for another girl. not that she would want to admit it, but if heejin ever found it, it would be the biggest heart break in all her life. perhaps her plan wasn't all that good. and the tables were turning. what if she had just made herself the one who experiences heartbreak instead. if that's so... the story did change. just not the way they wanted it to. like i said, there's always a catch.

"kim hyunjin are you even listening to me?" ha sooyoung asked, an irritated tone in her voice, yet she wasn't all that mad. well wow, that sentence sounded rather familiar, don't you think? "sorry sooyoung, i just started to day dream, a lot has been on my mind lately..." hyunjin replied, giving her a smile. okay, you're thinking the same thing as all of us right? yes. miss ha sooyoung over here indeed, the new person who has attracted hyunjins eyes. she sounds familiar, right? right!? "is it me who's been on your mind huh?" sooyoung teasingly said as she sent hyunjin a sly grin. hyunjin became slightly flustered, but tried to hide it. i mean she wasn't exactly wrong about that, but she wasn't exactly right. "haha, yeah totally," hyunjin said, the sarcasm clearly visible in her voice, "just thinking about my girlfriend, she seems busy lately." sooyoung gasped, as she slumped back into her chair.
"i forgot you had a girlfriend, bummer." sooyoung replied. "why's it a bummer?" hyunjin asked, picking up her tea. "well, i don't know, it's just that you can't kiss other people, like me for example!"

okay. yes i admit. sooyoung and hyunjin had a little more than just a friendship. friends with benefits i suppose. after time, they really grew close. but even heejin is too blind in love to see it now.

hyunjin just giggle and rolled her eyes, picking up her phone. she checked the time and her eyes widened. "sooyoung im sorry i have to go pick heejin up now, let's talk later at work okay?" hyunjin quickly grabbed her bag as she received a small nod from sooyoung and quickly rushed out of the small café. what an ironic place.

"so how was work today?" heejin asked hyunjin as she got into the passengers seat of the car. "it was alright, just a bit tiring, like usual." hyunjin answered, now buckling herself up and placing her hands onto the steering wheel. heejin just nodded back as she fastened her seatbelt. the atmosphere felt different, but heejin believe it was just due to hyunjins tiredness so she didn't think much of it. to be honest, the car ride was dead silent. it was never like that. but neither of the girls were having the best day. work is just too much to handle, especially when you're trying to keep up with a plan outside from your business life.

"we're here," hyunjin said, pulling up on the road outside heejins house. "thanks hyunjin." heejin quickly unbuckled herself and planted a small delicate kiss onto hyunjins left cheek. hyunjin would admit, her heart still did melt at heejins love, and even at heejin herself. but i guess her heart and eyes were just not in the same place. but you would always choose the heart over anything. that's why they say to always follow your heart. but in the black haired girls case, it must be slightly different. because even she, doesn't know which to follow. so she just follows anything until one day, everything she has done behind heejins back, will come right back at her.

hyunjin smiled, as she returned the kiss but instead, this time, onto heejins soft, pink, plump lips. heejin smiled as she closed the car door and waved goodbye. she walked closer and closer towards her house, hyunjins gaze following her small figure to make sure she was still safe until she had actually reached the inside of her house. okay, okay, so maybe a part of her, still kept her eyes on heejin. but oh boy if she knew what was coming for her next, she might as well have never introduced herself to ha sooyoung.

"what do i do." she whispered to herself

omg were y'all expecting that? because i surely wasn't! well i mean i was because i wrote the thing. but it looks as if the story has taken a weird twist. what do you think the outcome of it all will be? don't worry, there's still ages away til the end. but for now, i think i should let you know, that our ha sooyoung is about to cause some MAJOR trouble...

bUt- haha let's pretend i didn't just spoil something because i want to leave you guys wondering what will happen next.
SO! i'm very sorry for not updating in like 6 days :( that's almost a week! and i never go almost a week without keeping you guys updating on my book! i hope you can forgive me, and there will surely be a long chapter soon to owe you guys for waiting! i was just busy with some stuff irl so i couldn't
update :( but don't worry! i'm back! and there's a new chapter! (gosh this authors note is like practically longer then this chapter.) so i hope you guys enjoyed it! also don't you guys just wanna beat hyunjin and sooyoung up rn!? poor heejin...
