heejin exited the hospital, leaving hyunjin and yerim alone. they were probably going to talk about some personal things, so she thought it was best to leave them alone.

she was still trying to process how so suddenly yerim had gotten into an accident and had been rushed into the hospital. it didn't bother her that much though, at least she knew yerim was safe and fine. but she had this sort of feeling, that this exact thing had happened before.

by now she had obviously figured some things out with these whole flashbacks. but could it be that history is really repeating itself? and she'd have to tell hyunjin she couldn't be with her for whatever reason again?

deep into thought, heejin clutched onto her bag, fastening her pace whilst walking down a few roads to get to her home.

"well fuck this." heejin thought out loud. she decided was going to create her own story. she will not follow on from that old life. she wanted something new, and if new meant falling in love with hyunjin then she'd do whatever she could, and get whatever she can take. "i won't let you get in my way, and for whatever reason, i won't let you ruin hyunjins life again!" heejin stopped in her tracks as she looked up at the sky full of many shining stars and shouted, "and you cant do anything about it! are you listening to me god!? i'll do whatever i want"

people would think you're crazy, if someone walked by to see you shouting up at the sky, to someone who maybe never even existed. but it was quite the opposite. people just simply chuckled at heejin as she whined at the deep blue colour that laid up above the world. they saw it as a youthful girl wanting to make a change.

and yes. that's exactly what heejin wanted to do. but in a different way.

"but.." heejin stopped as she took a deep breath, and looked down at the ground. "why all of a sudden do i have the urge to do this. it's just life, there's always a next one right?" she closed her eyes as she let the deep breath out. honestly these days, even heejin had to admit she had been acting a lot stranger. and was so quick witted. it was definitely strange, and it felt as though life was moving way faster then it was before. but, nonetheless, she shook it off like usual, and continued walking.

although, maybe she wouldn't exactly be faking falling in love, because maybe she already was, like last time, but she just didn't know it.

heejin yawned as she got closer and closer to her house. she stretched out her arms a couple times from pure tiredness. she couldn't wait to get home, clear her mind from all this, and go to sleep. and for some reason, she couldn't wait to make a move with her plan.

it's time to write her future instead.

"excuse me?" a little boy, probably around the age of 5, came rushing up to heejin. she looked down at him with a questioning expression. she may be tired, but if there was a child in need, she would gladly help. "i- i cant find my parents and there was this guy chasing me.." the little one said, small whimpers intertwining between his words as tears formed in his eyes. "oh dear!" heejin complained, with worry in her eyes. "i'll take you to my house and i'll see if i can contact your parents okay?" she said, grabbing the childs hand as he nodded. "just stay close to me, alright?" she pulled the little boy closer to her, to seem more like his mother. they did look a like in a way.

it was quite peaceful, and heejin kept a look out for anyone who seemed mysterious. but it didn't look like anyone around the area was a kidnapper, that was until, she heard a sudden cry coming from the little boy. she looked over towards him, only for her eyes to be met with a rather large man trying to snatch the child away out of her grip. she was just as terrified as the little boy, but she couldn't show it. heejin attempted to pull the boy closer and closer to her, but it was no use, the man was bigger and stronger then her. "let go of my son!" heejin shouted towards the man. "your son? please you look too young for a child, just give him to me and i won't hurt you." the man reached for his pocket, pulling out a small pocket knife. heejin would've expected something like a gun, it was a little underwhelming what he pulled out, but it was still dangerous. "he is my son! NOW LET GO!" she yelled at him, still pulling the boy by his arm. she didn't dare to let go. "listen lady, i don't want to hurt you, but i will if i have to, hand the kid over." the man walked towards her, pointing his pocket knife towards her chest. heejin scoffed. "do you know who i am? i will get my lawyers on you and put you in jail! LEAVE US ALONE!" she tried to look as though she wasn't scared, and more intimidating, but she couldn't help but shiver as she looked down at the knife near her chest. "it doesn't matter to me who you are, once you're dead, your lawyers will be no use." he inched the knife closer and closer. "so give-" "HEY!" a voice screamed. causing the man to stop what he was doing and look over into the direction of the voice. "didn't you hear her? leave her and her son alone!" the voice shouted at him once more, agitation showing in her tone. "who are you to interrupt?" the man said, now facing towards the person. "i'm her wife." the girl said. now walking closer to the man, and out from the shadows of the late night. and as you guessed, it was the one and only kim hyunjin. heejin was a bit flustered, but she tried to put that aside and focus on the current situation. "i also took boxing when i was younger so if you wanna fight, im on." hyunjin added, rolling up her sleeves and giving the man a long hard stare. to heejins surprise, the man immediately got scared, and his body stiffened up. "o-oh" he suddenly stuttered, returning the knife back into his pocket and he bowed towards her. he must've not been as tough as he made out to be. wow, pathetic.

the man awkwardly smiled as he tried to quietly walk away from hyunjin and go back to his car. heejin just stared as he walked away. wow. how anticlimactic. she really thought was going to die, and if she did, her killer would've been some wuss. what a sad way to die.

"did you actually do boxing?" heejin asked as she walked towards hyunjin, still tightly grasping the boys arm. "no." hyunjin shortly replied. "i just said that to scare him, it always works, and never gets old." she then said after a pause, and lightly chuckled. "but that doesn't matter, are you okay?" she asked, facing right towards heejin, and staring into her dark yet fascinatingly eyes. at that moment. everything froze, and heejins heart race began to quicken, as her breaths became short and she could feel the loud thud from her chest ring in her ears.
