"heejin!" haseul exclaimed, running towards the younger girl. a few days had passed since hyunjin and heejins meet up, and yet they hadn't planned any thing further, so here heejin was. sitting in her office, writing an email to kim jungeun.

"what's up, haseul?" heejin asked, not taking her eyes away from her screen as she tapped a few more letters on her keyboard. "i just got a call from the k.j company!" haseul continued, the concern in her voice making heejin direct her attention towards the short haired girl. "what was it about?" heejin curiously asked, now removing her hands away from the keyboard. "well..." haseul trailed off "i don't think you'll like this but..." haseul started to play with her fingers and she looked down towards the floor. "kim jungeun wants to cancel the collab because one of her workers who i believe we met, yerim, is in hospital..." haseul then looked up to be met with heejins confused face. heejin was quite taken a back, but she was more concerned for the girl being in hospital rather then the collab being suddenly cancelled. "is that so?" heejin asked, as haseul quickly nodded. "it's alright, i'll send them an email later about it." haseul took a sigh of relief, it's good to know her boss isn't quite mad. "although, do you know what hospital yerim is staying in?" heejin suddenly asked. haseul placed her hand on her forehead, trying to remember for a bit, until she finally remembered. "ah yes, i believe it was seoul city hospital." heejin nodded and smiled as she thanked haseul. "why? will you visit her?" haseul asked, as she watched her boss stand up from her seat. "yes i am, and i'm going to right now" heejin replied, picking up her black leather bag and swinging it around her left shoulder. "ok..." haseul said. she watched as the brown haired girl made her way over to the door before whipping her head back round. "by the way haseul," heejin started to speak, "can you get vivi to write a draft email i can use to send later?" haseul gave a thumbs up towards her up and heejin left the room.

"hello?" heejin made her way over to the register of the hospital. the receptionist looked up at her and nodded. "do you know what room choi yerim is in?" the receptionist looked back down at her computer and typed some information into the small device. "choi yerim is on floor 3 in room 42." "okay thank you." heejin turned around towards the elevator and pressed the 'going up' button.

she patiently waited as she hummed her favourite song and tapped her foot on the cold yet smooth floor. she held onto the straps of her bag as she nodded her head along to the time she was humming. at last, the elevator has arrived to the ground floor. she stepped into it as soon as a few patients or visitors exited. to her luck, she was the only one in the elevator, which means she had the whole space to herself without being squished by sweaty people and impatient doctors.

she looked into the mirror that was placed on the back of the elevator and fixed her hair, she brushed her skirt and pulled down the sleeves of her blazer.

the elevator dinged as the shiny, metal door opened, revealing floor three. she stepped her black heels onto the floor that was now carpet. she noticed how everyone was wearing comfortable clothes and were either staring at her for wearing formal attire or because she's famous. perhaps she should've went home and changed her clothes before she decided to come here.

she walked along the corridor, reading each rooms number until she finally reached the door that had a big 42 plastered onto it. she peeled through the glass on the side of the door frame to check if there were any doctors or nurses in there. she was an unexpected visitor, so it would be a bit strange if the doctors saw her entering the room.

she knocked onto the hard wooden door 3 times before hearing a soft yet weak "come in." heejin carefully opened the door and shut it behind her, not allowing it to make even a smal squeaking sound. it was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. she made her way over to the chair next to yerims hospital bed and sat down on it. yerims eyes drifted over to the girl, she had just woken up and was practically half asleep, so it took her a minute before she realised that the jeon heejin was the one who entered her room instead of a doctor.

"oh? heejin?!" yerim quickly sat up and bowed as far down as she could go without hurting herself. "ok please don't bow and lay back down..." heejin panicked, and was a bit embarrassed as she lightly pushed yerim down so her head was now touching her pillow. yerim let out a small chuckle. "what brings you here, miss jeon?" she asked "well i heard that you were in hospital, so i got worried and decided to pay you a visit, but i think ive got to make my visit quick as your doctors don't know ive come to see you." "oh don't worry about it, i'm sure the doctors will be okay with it, and thank you so much for coming to see me." yerim replied, placing her hand onto heejins. "so mind telling me what happened exa-"

before heejin could continue, an unexpected guest burst through the door and made their way over to yerim. "oh my god yerim, are you okay, i'm so sorry i shouldn't have left before you!" the girl spoke, as she examined every inch of yerim whilst speaking rather quickly. "woah woah woah woahhhhh, calm down, it's totally okay it's not your fault." yerim reassured the girl. "it totally is my fault! you were drunk, and i left you to drive yourself home and you crashed! i should've driven you." yerim just chuckled as she shook her head. "hyunjin, there's no need to worry or overthink, i'm okay, and it wasn't your fault, so don't put the blame on you." hyunjin took deep breaths as she hugged yerim. "yes i'm glad you're okay."

after a few minutes, the girls who looked like twins pulled away from each other. hyunjin was going to sit down on the chair next to yerim when she saw the most familiar person sitting down on it.

"heejin?"

"hyunjin?"

awkward silence...

"why are you here, are you and yerim friends?" hyunjin asked, confusion taking over her. "we're not that close but i'm nice enough to visit just to make sure she's okay, after finding out the collab was cancelled because she's in hospital i was already on my way here." heejin replied, hyunjin just nodded as she tried to process the situation. that doesn't really excuse why she's here. if it were hyunjin who were in hospital, hyunjin bets heejin probably would never visit her. yerim suddenly chimed into the conversation. "oh yeahhh, i'm sorry the collab was cancelled because of me." "oh no no, don't worry about it!" heejin quickly said, "it's okay, you're more important." yerim just smiled at the response as she adjusted her bed sheets.

"sooyoung i'm so sorry you're in hospital because of me" hyunjin said, kneeling down beside the bed as heejin pat her back. "please there's no need to worry about it, it wasn't your fault, i was stupid enough to run into the road to chase after you." spotting replied, grabbing hyunjins hand and holding it tightly. "yeah but, if i didn't get angry at you in the first place, it would've never happened." hyunjins speech became slightly muffled as she buried her into the plain white bed sheets. sooyoung squeezed her hand tighter this time. "i told you, it's alright." "plus" heejin suddenly joined in, now kneeling beside hyunjin to match her level. "there's nothing we can do about it now, at least sooyoung is safe, right?" sooyoung hummed towards heejins words as hyunjin lifted her head up and slightly smiled and heejin. "i guess you're right."
