haseul had obviously told heejin about the event she had inquired. of course she would. heejin was rather appalled, words wouldn't even be able to describe the drenching sadness that sat in her heart. but alas, their relationship was all fake. so again, as she always asked herself, why the need to be so sad. is it just because she felt lonely without hyunjin sending her sweet smiles, or was it really that her heart was craving the black haired girl.
heejin sat in her room, staring at the wall. the time was about 3am. she was lacking of sleep through out the past few days, so all she did was stare at her wall and think about life. with her legs scrunched up towards her chest and hands keeping them stuck together, she adventured within her thoughts.
she's a mess.
that's what she had discovered as her hitched breath was the only thing heard within the room along with the loud, yet soothing click of the old wooden clock slabbed on her wall.
who would've thought a single person would have such an affect on her.
she used to be so independent and afraid of nothing, if only she had not involved herself with all of this mess. maybe she should've just dealt with the splitting pain in her head, everytime. but she just had to lock eyes with a certain stranger who would've changed everything from then.
heejin pushed her self back onto her bed, so now she would be staring at the plastered ceiling instead. she let out a long, exaggerated sigh, but a quiet one, so her workers sleeping in the house would not wake up. they have very sensitive ears when it comes to heejin. after all, they'd to, protect the independent woman with their whole life.
"i just want to go back to normal." heejin murmured, "it was all better back then, even if i could just go back to that night when we later under the many stars, it still would be better than this."
her eyes wandered around the room, creating yet another silence as she gathered up more of her dense thoughts
"it's just how would i face her." heejin yet again muttered, this time a bit more quiet. she picked up her phone, to see the notification
4 missed calls from cat girl.
oh how that name did remind her of many memories, some good, yet some bad.
"how do i face you."
all of a sudden, as if the past was visiting the future, the girl simply laying down on her bed, felt a splitting pain travel right through her head.
—————
"hyunjin..." heejin spoke, returning the blood red rose back to the girl in front of her who showed an anticipated face. "you know, i cant accept this right now. maybe not now." she continued, as hyunjins faced more into a confused-sad face. "just now here, in this life, okay?" the black haired girls face became even more sadder as she started to realise the message heejin was trying to get across in a nice way. she began to hang her head low, unable to make eye contact with the brown haired girl. "but that doesn't mean forever." heejin reassured, causing the cat lover to immediately raise her head up.
—————
"so this is what it feels like." heejin spoke, regaining her conscious. "but most importantly... why are these happening again?" she questioned, making a frown with her face, "are we losing each other?"
