~ 2 Months Later ~
Something that takes you by surprise is the end of something you just began to love. An opportunity I used to dream about was now finishing. I couldn't have been more grateful to work with an amazing cast and crew. I've become close with the cast. The director was amazing. The filming process was rushed, busy, and nearly impossible, but it was finished. Although, the film itself was not what I was expecting. The movie was a thriller, not a romance. I wiped my eyes as I walked to my car.
"Everly!" Someone called out. I turned to face Ryan, my costar of the movie.
"Hey!" I smiled, trying not to look pathetic.
"You were going to leave without giving me a hug." He concluded, wrapping his arms around me. I chuckled, hugging him back.
"We're still going to see each other." I laughed. "Me, you, and Scarlet made plans." Scarlet was one of the other costars.
"And interviews... blah blah blah. I'm still going to miss seeing you." He sighed, pulling away from me. I smiled up at him.
"It is going to be strange not seeing each other almost every day," I admitted, pushing a piece of my hair out of my face.
"Do you want to grab dinner? Scar and I were planning on heading out to eat." He asked as he threw his thumb behind his shoulder.
"I would love to, but I already made dinner plans," I admitted pitifully. As if I didn't have enough assumptions made about me on the internet, Ryan was one of them.
"With him?" He asked. I smiled awkwardly, placing my hand on his arm.
"We'll go out soon. We still have that big cast dinner, right?" I asked. He smiled and nodded.
"Yes. I'll see you around, Ev." He pulled me into one last hug before we parted ways to our cars.
Once I got into my car, I sighed, trying not to think about the fact that my first movie was finally finished. I was lucky enough to get this opportunity. Most people on Twitter disagree although I haven't seen much of the controversy. I've only seen what my friends had shown me. Friends. That was another crazy part of the past two months. I had more than one friend.
After the talk about 'the girl with Harry Styles' had died down, I thought my scandal era would be finished. Turns out many people didn't like that I replaced the original actress in the movie. But people loved the chemistry between me and Ryan. I hardly thought it was chemistry. We were just good friends. Harry had gone to England for two weeks in July. During that time, we were both able to figure out boundaries and get on with our lives. Now Harry and I were close friends. That was not something I would ever expect.
"Hello, Harry," I said, answering my ringing phone.
"Hey, Everly Grace." The nickname that annoyed me two months ago now makes me smile. "Are we still on for dinner?"
"Of course we are. What are you feeling?" I asked, connecting my phone to the Bluetooth in my car. I began driving toward my house to get changed.
"Well, it was your last day shooting. What would you like?" He asked. I heard him fidgeting with something in the background.
"Well, I could go for Italian," I admitted, feeling how hungry I was.
"Great. I'll meet you at our spot?" He suggested. I smiled.
"Yes. I'll see you there."
"Bye, Everly."
"Bye, Harry." He hung up and I caught a smile on my lips. Harry Styles was having dinner with me again.
