Everyone has that thing that seems to calm you down no matter how stressed, upset, or angry you are. It could be a person, pet, TV show, music... but I have two. It seems that Harry and Sofia are the two people who can calm me down amid my crazy life right now. In the past six months, my life has completely turned upside down, but in a good way. I came to L.A. to escape my town from certain events, which I haven't thought about since July. Harry has occupied my time basically since the minute I came to this city. He met me at a coffee shop and I'm almost certain that if we hadn't met, I wouldn't be where I am today.
He's been there for me through this whole mess of the celebrity life and I only have a taste of it. He's fully submerged, yet he is such a humble man. He's been keeping my head screwed on so I'm moving in the right and humble direction, and he keeps a smile on my face. Although Harry is comforting and has been there for me for a while. Sofia will always top him. She's my best friend and we've been friends for many years. She's been there for me through any possible problem you could imagine. I've been with Harry almost every day since we started dating and I have barely seen Sofia. I've also been working hard on the clothing line and other auditions.
It's more my fault that I haven't seen her, but according to David, she's been spending a lot of time at work, working on her talk show and script. She promised me that I would be the first person to read her script, so I'm very happy and proud of her for her hard work. But now, I've finally gotten a free day to spend with her. It was the day after the photoshoot and so much has happened since Halloween. She still doesn't know what happened on Halloween, but she was running around the party, meeting new people. I didn't want to take away from her experience.
"It's so nice out today," Sofia said as we sat at the table outside of the restaurant. We picked up the menu and started to look through it.
"I know, it's not too hot, not too cold," I replied, looking through the different food items. "I've never been here before."
"It had a good rating on Yelp, so I'll give it a try," Sofia said, making me laugh. She smiled and I looked at the laminated menu.
"Hello, I'm Greg, I'll be taking your order for today. What can I get you guys to drink?" Greg asked, clapping his hands together. We looked over at him and he was in the perfect place because his body was blocking the sun.
"I'll take water," I answered, looking back at the menu.
"We'll both take mimosas." Sofia corrected. I smiled, happy to know my best friend still knew me well enough. "You're not with Harry today. It is me and your time." I chuckled and shook my head.
"Alright, I'll be right back with those." He walked away and I finally found the hamburger section. The breakfast burger was calling my name. I'm a sucker for breakfast burgers.
"So what's been going on? I feel like I haven't seen you in a while." She said, sitting back in her chair. I put my menu down and smiled guiltily.
"I know, I've been at Harry's for a long time, and working on my line." As much as I love spending time with Harry, sometimes it's good to get away. It felt nice to sit at lunch and not have to worry about whether a fan was looking or not.
"To be fair, I've been at David's too. Especially when I work late at night. I don't think anyone's been in the apartment for a while." I chuckled at our star-struck hearts. It was crazy to think that we both started our dream lives with what seemed to be our dream guys.
"Do you remember that deal we made before we came to L.A.?" She sat up straighter and chuckled.
"You mean the one where we promised that we would get our life together before even thinking about boys." I laughed lightly at the irony of it. "But no more about our amazing boys. This is about us catching up." I nodded, smiling at the relaxation with my best friend.
