The next morning, Harry and I got up early. We both had plans that took up most of the day until dinner. Scarlet sprung on us that no one knew how to cook a turkey and we needed one. Harry offered to cook one. He was always willing to help others, which I admired of him. Most of his day was spent finishing up the final touches for the album and having a lot of meetings about the tour and music videos. He was lucky I found a turkey this late in November. I was able to drop it off at his house on my way to one of the lengthy meetings I had. Some about the promo video editing. Some about the jewelry commercials. It was a busy day. We hardly had enough time to go home, cook, and get ready. When I got back, Harry was rushing around the kitchen.
"Darling, will you come and turn on the faucet? My hands are a tad bit messy..." He asked when I walked into the kitchen. I laughed lightly and walked over to the sink and turned it on. "Thank you." He gave me a quick kiss as he washed his hands.
"Are you stressed?" I asked, walking over to the sweet potatoes Scarlet asked me to make.
"I'm just worried we won't have enough time. Scarlet sprung this on us." He explained. I nodded, washing my hands once he was done.
"If it's any assurance, it's just a Friendsgiving," I assured, running my fingers through his hair. He sighed lightly and pulled me into another kiss.
"I know. But they're your friends." He explained, making me smile at him. "By the way... the boys loved your desserts."
"Really?" I asked.
"Yes. They texted about it."
"That's amazing." I grinned. He gave me another kiss.
"I just want to kiss you everywhere." He groaned against my lips. I laughed and kissed him back, letting him do what he needed to calm down. "Which is going to happen after we come home." He pulled away and sighed, looking down at me with admiration. I didn't want this moment to end. I wanted it to last. "Now stop distracting me!" He quickly turned me around and pushed me away, flicking the towel at me and making me laugh. I walked over to the potatoes and started to peel them.
Eventually, the turkey was finished cooking and Harry and I had successfully made the other dishes we were assigned to bring. It hardly gave us enough time to get ready. I decided to wear a brown leather skirt with a black top. I layered it with a brown trench coat and thigh-high boots. Harry wore brown pants and a black collared shirt that was hardly buttoned. He wanted to match what I was wearing.
"The perfume my mother bought you smells amazing." Harry complimented me as he wrapped his arms around my stomach. He buried his head in my neck, smelling the scent. I smiled, leaning against his body as he tickled my neck. I laughed and he spun me around. His arms wrapped around my back now and he pulled me into a kiss.
We finally made it on the road before Harry got any ideas of freezing the time. We made it to Scarlet's house, which wasn't as grand as Harry's friends, but at least she had a house. I rang the doorbell and Scarlet was quick to answer. She smiled at us.
"Hello, guys! Come on in." She said. We walked in and I greeted her with a hug. "Thank you so much for making the turkey. I thought Ryan knew, but he asked me who was making it." She hugged Harry and reached to take the turkey.
"It's no problem, darling. I don't mind taking it. Where's the kitchen?" He asked. She smiled.
"It's over here. Make yourselves at home." We followed her to the kitchen where Harry put the turkey in the middle of the centerpiece. Scarlet walked to the bar to make us a few drinks.
"Doesn't know how to cook a turkey." Harry scoffed quietly to me. I chuckled, lightly shoving his shoulder. He smiled at me, trying to keep cool.
Sofia and David were already there, and there were a few other people from the set. Most of them were actors and actresses who played my group of friends in the movie. Scarlet and Ryan were conversing with everyone, but Ryan seemed to keep a distance from me and Harry. I haven't had a chance to talk to him about what he said to the paparazzi yet. I think he avoided us because Harry would put him in his place.
