"I just don't get why you're making me watch this," I said as I looked up at the tv in front of us.

"You're doing great," Harry said, rubbing my legs. I held onto the blanket and watched carefully.

"Why are they running like that?" I looked over at him and he snickered as he drew small shapes onto my legs.

"Just watch." I crossed my arms and got comfortable again as I turned back to the tv. My eyes widened.

"Harry!" I gasped, quickly pulling the blanket over my eyes, making Harry laugh at me. "Turn it off! Turn it off! Turn it off!"

"This part's almost over." He assured, rubbing my legs. I just watched a man get eaten by another man, I can't watch this movie. Harry somehow convinced me to watch another scary movie to get me into the Halloween spirit, but I hate them with a passion.

"Why can't we watch something normal, like Hocus Pocus?" I asked and shut my eyes tightly. People in the movie were screaming and you could very clearly hear the man-eating people.

"Because we watched that yesterday and you promised me you would watch this with me!" I shook my head under the blanket. Thankfully, I was spending the night with Harry tonight, because I would not be able to spend the night alone after watching that.

"Come here, baby." He cooed, taking his hands off of my legs. He wrapped his arms around me, trying to comfort me the best he could. "Oh, you're really scared."

"He just ate his face off. I have a right to be scared." I shut my eyes tightly. He laughed lightly and kissed the top of my head, sinking deeper into the couch as he did.

"Well, that part is over." I shook my head and wrapped my arms around him tighter.

"Can it all be over?" I felt bad that I could barely get into the 'Halloween spirit' as Harry would say, but I can't watch someone eat another man's face off.

"Oh, come on, there's not another scary part for a while."

"The only interesting thing about this movie is the main character." I sighed.

"Why, because he's a guy?" I could hear the offense in his voice and I couldn't stop myself from chuckling. "Yes, this movie can be over." I laughed at his small bit of jealousy as he reached for the remote and turned it off. The screams stopped and I could open my eyes.

"I'm sorry, it's just it's a little weird watching an eyeball get sucked out of the eye socket," I said, sitting up and fixing the hoodie Harry gave to me. He laughed a deep laugh and picked up his drink.

"It's alright, Everly Grace. I don't need you looking at a good-looking guy." I laughed and took a sip of his drink, glancing at me as he did. "I have something better for us anyway." My eyebrows knitted together as he took another sip of his drink. A smirk spread across his face and he stood up, holding his hand out for me to take. I hesitantly looked up at him and he rolled his eyes playfully. "Come on, sister, we don't have all night."

I laughed and placed my hand in his, allowing him to pull me off of the couch. We walked into the kitchen and he let go of my hand. I leaned against the counter and waited for the secret surprise he was bringing. Confusion spread across my face as he walked in with two pumpkins in each of his arms and he placed them on the island in front of us. He looked up at me with a cheeky grin and I shifted my weight onto my right foot, crossing my arms.

"Why do you have pumpkins?" He placed his hands on his hips and looked down at them.

"To carve them." He said it as if it was obvious, and it was, but I couldn't help but laugh. He walked over to one of the drawers and grabbed a knife and a big bowl while I pulled my hair back into a ponytail. "We were supposed to do them tomorrow on Halloween, but I don't see why we can't do them now."
