I don't know how Harry does it. He is constantly on the run and never seems to complain. Yesterday was our only off day and he spent the time with me shopping. He wanted to come with me to pick out items for London, and my last-minute gifts for Taylor, Zendaya, Sofia, and Selena. I still haven't gotten used to that being my life. I already got Scarlet, Harry, and Linda something amazing, but we doing our Christmas exchange next week before Harry and I leave.
Today is a special day. My jewelry line dropped this morning for Cartier. Tiffany will drop by tomorrow. Everyone was going crazy over the jewelry's elegance and aesthetic, which led people to believe that my clothing promo was me hinting at makeup or clothes. Harry loved the pictures so much that he wanted to frame them in his house. But tonight, Harry plays Fine Line in the Forum. The lines started earlier this morning, and I felt lucky that I was backstage with him. We were filmed from the second we drove into the forum. When we got out of the car, we both waved at the camera.
The sound check went smoothly. I was sitting in a little VIP box that he had set up for me. During October, I had gotten to know Harry's band better and we had gone out to a few parties with Mitch. It was crazy to hear his songs live in such a big arena. He was wearing brown pants and a yellow graphic t-shirt right now.
"How does it sound out there, angel?" Harry asked, holding the microphone. I held up my thumb.
"Don't you think you should have a wireless mic?" I asked. Thanks to the emptiness of the room, he could hear me perfectly.
"I love the wire." He said, acting offended, but I knew he was kidding. "I can fling it around..." He began waving it around, making me laugh.
"Okay, Harry, let's do one more run and then we'll be ready."
"Perfect." He said, walking back over to his mic. I pulled out my phone and took a quick picture of him. He looked amazing in anything, it was a gift. I put it on my story with the caption 'sound check'. It wasn't long until everyone was talking about it.
I went backstage to Harry's dressing room and sat on the makeup chair. It wasn't long until Harry joined me. One of the producers came in with the cameraman. He was playing with some pink glasses as she was explaining the order of the setlist. I noticed Harry took the camera at some point and pointed it at me. I smiled at him as he walked closer, almost hitting my face with the lens. I smiled up at him.
"What are you doing?"
"Looking at you." He said, making me laugh.
Once he gave the camera back, and she had finished running through the show, they all put their hands in a pile. He gestured to me. I walked over to him, placing my hand in the pile too.
"Soup, sex, and sun salutations!" He cheered. We all cheered with him, but I couldn't stop the laughter. He instantly started taking deep breaths.
When all of the others left, a few people came into the dressing room to do my makeup and hair, which wasn't necessary, but he insisted. He took a small power nap while I was getting dolled up. I smiled at him. He was so peaceful when sleeping. I don't know how he wasn't freaking out. He woke up when I was finished. I walked over to him and he quickly grabbed my waist before pulling me down on top of him.
"What are you doing?" I laughed. He smiled as he looked up at me.
"You look pretty." He said, kissing my cheek so he wouldn't smear my lipstick. I smiled as the blush rose to my cheeks.
"Are you nervous?" I asked, running my fingers through his hair.
"A little. I haven't performed in a while."
"They're going to love it," I assured him. He smiled at me.
"I'm glad you could be here."
"I wouldn't miss it." I sat straight up so I wasn't putting all of my weight on him. He sat up with me. I pulled out my phone and smiled. "Look! I found this cool scratching post for a cat..." He laughed as I pulled up my Amazon wish list. "And this window bed..."
