"Everly, do you have a second?" Harry said over the phone as I was walking to the coffee shop. I was planning on bringing him some coffee while he finished at the studio. His singles come out in six days, and he's been stressed. He didn't know I was coming to the studio. He thought I was doing more clothing prep, but I had a few hours in between.
"I always have time for you," I said.
"Excellent... I need your opinion on something. How soon can you get to the studio?" He asked. I walked into the coffee shop instantly getting hit with the strong smell.
"Fifteen minutes."
"Perfect. I'll see you then, darling."
"Bye."
"Bye." He hasn't said that he loves me since Halloween, so I decided not to say anything about it. Especially since we've both been so busy with our careers. We haven't had time to think.
I looked down at my phone, feeling guilty. Ryan hasn't texted or been on social media since Halloween. I felt bad that I missed him because I'm perfectly happy with Harry. I just missed the friendship. Harry tells me that he doesn't mind if Ryan and I are friends as long as Ryan is respectful to me. He also tells me that Ryan is being an ass for going out of his way to ignore me.
I didn't want to think about it. I went to the line and ordered our normal orders and a few for his band. As I was waiting, I looked around. I noticed the wooden table I sat at many months ago. The same table that changed my life. At the table, I met Harry Styles and became who I am today. Just six months later. That girl thought she'd never make it and was looking for jobs to support herself. Now I'm standing here, not quite at my goal, but living my dream. I'm wearing expensive clothes that my boyfriend gifted me. I'm about to visit Harry Styles while he works on his album. I'm making a clothing line. All because I decided to sit at the table and mope about an audition.
"Everly?" A woman called. I took the coffee and walked out of the shop, smiling because of the memory. I finally got back into my car and drove down to the studio. When I walked in, I couldn't find anyone except for Harry.
"Hello, my beautiful girl." He greeted me, kissing me on the lips. I smiled as he guided me into the studio.
"Hey, where is everyone?" I asked, setting the tray of coffee on the table.
"They went out for lunch. They probably won't be back for a few hours..." He said as I handed him some coffee. "Thank you. You didn't have to get me coffee."
"Well, I was planning on bringing you some anyway. Guess where it's from..." He looked at the cup and smiled.
"Beachwood Cafe." He said. I gave him a small smile as I placed my purse on the couch. "Where we met."
"Yes. You remembered."
"Of course I do. It's where I met you." He took a sip from the drink while I blushed.
"Well, what did you want my opinion about?"
"How much time do you have?"
"Plenty. I don't have to be back for a while."
"Good. Please, sit." He said, gesturing to the couch. I hesitantly sat, looking at him in curiosity. He looked nervous but excited as he rubbed his hands together. "I've been wanting to show you this for a while. You mean so much to me and I've been waiting for the right moment then I realized there is no perfect moment. I just want to do it."
"What is it?" I chuckled nervously. He stood in front of me with a serious, yet excited grin.
"I would love it if you listened to the album." My eyes widened at his words. He wanted my opinion on his songs. The songs he's been working on for a long time. A song he wrote about me. He wanted me to hear it before everyone else.
