Alone 2: Bullets

1. Coffee

I stood by the window of my living room surrounded by guards. I looked through the window and watched the buzzing life of New York City.

"Excuse me miss. Your coffee". Said one of the guards as he bowed and handed over my coffee.

I went back to looking out the window taking a slight sip of my coffee.

I immediately turned around and spat it out.

"What the fuck is this?". I yelled using my eyes to find the guard who brought it. I never really know how any of them look.

"Who brought this THING!"

Just then the culprit stepped out.

"What is this?" I asked the bald middle aged man.

"Your c-c-coffee young mistress". He said. I could feel the fear oozing out of him.

"My c-c-coffee. Fool this ain't what I asked for. Do I look like someone who drinks black coffee with no sugar"

"No young mistress"

"Okay then. I want you to drink the whole cup". I said handing it over to him.

"Yes mistress". As he was about to take a sip I shot him on he's side.

He screamed out of pain and I only smiled.

"None of you are allowed to help him. Let him bleed to death. Is that understood". I told the rest of the guards.

"YES YOUNG MISTRESS". They all replied in unison.

I walked over his body then headed out with my guards following close by.

I spent the day shopping before I headed home. When I got home. The blood had already been cleaned off and the body was gone.

That serves him right for messing up my coffee.

"Took you long enough". A voice I loved dearly said from behind.

I turned around and it was my brother. You know my long lost brother.

"Ax!!" I ran over and hugged him tightly. Axel Hernandez. Son of The Andrey Hernandez. Aka my big brother.

Ax was tall and he had green eyes like my dad. He had brown hair and broad shoulders.

"Hey Lex you planning on strangling me". I laughed and punched him on his arm.

Oh by the way I go by Alexa now. My name is actually Alexandria.

"Umm.. Lex why is one of your guards in a garbage bag". Oh my gosh. He found out.

"Yes I found out. And yes you were thinking out loud again". He laughed slightly.

"Well he." I couldn't come up with an appropriate excuse.

"What are the rules before killing someone". Axel folded he's arms. Looking at me.

When I got here 3 years ago. Axel and my dad welcomed me whole heartly.

They never made me feel like I was gone for 16 years. Especially Ax. He's just the best.

"The 3 rules before you can kill someone are". I said bouncing my head from side to side.

"Rule number 1, only kill someone if they want you dead"

"Number 2". He said

"Only kill someone if they owe you money"

"And"

"Only kill someone if they threatened you".

"So why on Earth did you kill your guard?" Axel asked

"Firstly that black coffee could have killed me. Secondly, he wasted my money on that shit and thirdly the coffee was a threat to my life". I said then Axel starting laughing uncontrollably.

He's always cold towards everyone but when he's around me he's always laughing and smiling.

"Suit yourself sis. By the way wasn't your hair purple last week". He said pointing to my wavey middle length rose dyed hair.

"Yeah. I changed it. Isn't it cuter now".

"I still don't get why you're always changing the colour of your hair. Last week it was purple now it's pink".

"My God Ax. It's not pink. It's rose".

"I thought rose was a flower"

"It's also a shade of pink".

"I don't even know where you guys get these names from". Then we both started laughing.

"By the way. You need to go to a meeting with me and dad on Friday".

"Yay dad's coming". I loved my father. He was the best. He was so excited the day I came home.

"Yeah he's coming back Wednesday night."

"Okay then". I said then skipped happily to my room.

My life has changed so much in the past three years. And all it took was for that person to crumble my old life.

I'm still waiting for the day I get my revenge for what he did to me.
