"So this is all about a love story?!". Honestly, I expected more. But in the end it's my family's fault, yet the Garcia line ended before ours.

Pablo Garcia's only son died about a year ago. He was the sole heir. It's because of his death that Theo is in control now.

People say he died in an accident but really we all know it was an assassination. In this world of ours no one dies so easily.

"Yes, a love story". My dad said.

"Lamest war story ever. But I still kinda get it. If Anastasia had told Arturo about their relationship before it got to that point, he wouldn't have been so hurt". Axel analyzed.

"You finally see why I disapprove of love completely". I said

"How's your friend doing. It must be really hard on her". My dad said

"She's a wreck right now. Tessa and Kessa were always together, they even live together. I wonder how she'll feel when she goes home". The thought of her walking into her now empty apartment broke my heart. Why does my life have to be so complicated.

First Harley died now Tessa. It's like who ever goes close to me has to died. And Theo is the one who did this. Him of all people.

"Dad I'm going over to kessa's apartment, to keep her company"

"Alright then. Take your guards along"

"I know daddy". I walked out of the office and went downstairs. As I was about to leave I saw Tracy going up the stairs. I wonder what she wants. Probably to beg Axel to take her back.
Pathetic.

I stared up at the large apartment building. I took a deep breath before going in. Tessa and Kessa stayed at the penthouse. Jackson was with her right now, at least I know she's not alone.

I knocked slightly on the door before Jackson opened up. "Where is she?". I asked him.

"Over there". He pointed to a sobbing Kessa who was sitting on the floor and watching videos of her and Tessa.

"Hey. Kes". I called out to her. She turned immediately and got up.

"Why are you here?". She asked with anger in her voice.

"What do you mean?. I came here to see you kes"

"See me?. You're the reason Tessa is gone. If it wasn't for all your mafia business, she wouldn't have died. All you mafia people care about is money and your family. Everyone else can just die".

"What are you saying kes. It wasn't Alexa's fault and you know it". Jackson said in my defense.

"Don't you dare defend her. If she never came into my life Tessa would still be alive. I wish you're the one who died instead". Kessa's words hurt me to the point that I couldn't say a word I just left. Jackson came running after me he finally caught up to me in front of the elevator.

"Wait Alexa". He grabbed my arm then I turned around.

"What is it Jack. Kessa hates me and it wasn't even my fault".

"If you feel this way then how does Theo feel"

"What do you mean"

"You went and accused him of killing Tessa"

"That's because he did it. All the facts point towards him"

"Okay let's say the facts point towards him but there's no motive lex". He paused then continued "tell me. What was my major in college"

"Psychology". I replied.

"Exactly, I basically studied people. Just from spending one night with Theo I can tell that he loves you alot. Have you ever asked yourself why you feel like he's the one responsible"

"All the evidence and kessa's testimony points towards him"

"Have you ever wondered why only a few people appreciate art"

"What does art have to do with this. You're confusing me right now". God I hate it when the psychologist in him comes out.

"The reason is, those who appreciate art look beyond the picture. They read every brush stroke, every shape the artist paints. All I'm trying to tell you is there's always more to a perfect picture that meets the eye."

"Jackson. No matter what you say I won't change mind". I walked into the elevator before he could say anything else.

Now my thoughts were all scattered. Jackson made a good point but still I can't ignore the facts.

And right now I need space from my friends, from my family and most importantly Theo. The only place I could think of going was the office, at least I'm in control over there.

I walked into my office and saw Cole sitting on his desk. I forgot he was now my assistant.

"Hey there madam"

"Shut up Cole".

"Look everyone at the office knows about what happened. You don't need to come in today". He said with sympathy in his voice.

"Last I checked I'm the boss around here. So I don't need you telling me what I should and shouldn't do".

"I get it. You're not the touchy feely type but..."

"But what?". I asked

"Come with me and your guards can't come". He pulled me along by my arm. We walked out of my office. The guards were about to follow " I'm going to the rest room you don't need to come along wait here". The guard nodded his head and the rest stood down.

Cole took me to the parking lot and unlocked his car. He opened the door for me before he jogged to the driver's side.

We just kept driving for some time but I didn't know where he was taking me.

"Where the fuck are we going. Do you know how much trouble I'll be in with my dad when he finds out I left my guards"

"You'll see soon enough. And just admit that you actually want to go or else go wouldn't have come along"

"You dragged me with you"

"You lied to your guards". Seriously did he just counter my words.

"Just tell me where we're going. I hope you're not going to do something cheesy like take me to the beach so I can feel better"

"I'm not taking you to a beach. Nor am I taking you to a lake and I'm definitely not taking you to an amusement park. Just enjoy the ride and we'll be there soon".
