29. Hercules

When I woke up I felt like a brick wall. I guess that's what happens when you fall asleep on the couch at 4 in the morning.

I looked over to the coffee table and I picked up my phone.

I checked the time and it was already 12pm.

I turned over and Jackson wasn't there. I guess he's up already.

I dragged myself all the way to wherever the fuck I left my suitcase.

I took out the aspirin from the bag and I took water from the mini fridge.

Just then Jackson came storming in, you could literally see the smoke coming out of his ears.

"What happened to you?" I asked while trying but failing to swallow the  aspirin.

"You won't believe my morning. I woke up like 5 in the morning".

"That's no possible. We slept like 4am"

"I don't really sleep that much. So back to my terrible morning"

Flashback.

Jackson's pov

I woke up after an hour of falling asleep. I wasn't really the kind of person who sleeps. I guess it's just the nature of my work.

I looked over at Alexa who was sound asleep with popcorn in her mouth. It was both cute and absolutely disgusting.

I removed the popcorn then I covered her up properly with the blanket.

It's nice having a best friend like Alexa I just hope one day she knows that she isn't bad luck.

I went and took out my sweatpants and a hoodie.

After putting them on I went out for a jog.

I had music blasting into my ears and a clear path ahead.

Jogging helps me stay calm and process all the drama in my life.

When I was younger, my parents started seeing the signs that I was gay. And instead of being supportive and helping me get through it, they took me to some fucked up gay Reformation center.

It felt like hell being there until I decided to escape.

When I finally succeeded, I was lost and homeless.

I was walking around one day when I saw a man, he shot so many people so fast. I was amazed.

When the man saw me, he walked over and asked me my name.

He smiled at me and told me he would take care of me. He brought me to his house and there I met Axel.

Axel's dad was the one who took me in. He took care of me and made me strong so that I never have to run away again.

And yes I have to admit I've had a crush on Axel for as long as I can remember. But he's straight.

I kept on jogging and thinking about my shitty life and my one sided love story.

And that's when some dude splashed water on me with his car.

I was furious. I bet if I had my gun on me I would have blown his brain out of his head.

I looked over at the car and the guy rolled down his window. He stared at me from head to toe then he just drove off.

Being splashed with water made me check the time then I realized how long I've been jogging.

Now that I remember the pain struck.

And because I didn't take any money along I had to jog back to the hotel.

Flashback over

"Listen just calm down and go take a long shower. After that we're heading to the hospital". Alexa said before she went back to the couch.

"Alright then".

After we both got ready we were on our way to the hospital.

After we arrived, we went to the receptionist to see if we could assess any records and that's when I saw him.

"Alexa don't look now but that's the guy from this morning".

Then she turned around and looked at him.

"I said don't look".

"You didn't tell me he was hot". She was already fan girling him like this morning never happened.

"He definitely isn't". Okay I was lying but who cares.

"Go confront him. I got this. He just might be Hercules". She said then pushed me towards him.

I walked up to him and I activated mean mood in my brain.

"Can I help you". The idiot said while staring at me.

"Yes you can. Why on Earth did you splash water on me this morning and didn't even apologise". Damn I was furious but his eyes were so mesmerizing.

Shut up and take this seriously.

"Oh that I was you. I did apologize but I guess you didn't hear me before you had headphones on".

"Whatever. That's no excuse"

"Alright then. Let me make it up to you. Let's go grab coffee really quick". Okay things are taking a new direction.

"Alright then".

"I'm Dale by the way"
