22. Dangling

"Gurrero? As in Christian Gurrero". I gave Jackson a look. I wanted to confirm if the man was lying.

"A lady came to us. She said her last name was Guerrero but she didn't say her first name. And I didn't see her face either". The dangling man said.

Christian Gurrero was the third most dangerous man in our circle. After my dad and Pablo of course.

He wouldn't risk going to war with my father. For one they're close friends. But then again you can't really trust anyone in our world. And also my dad would destroy him without even lifting a finger.

Jackson and I talked, then we decided the best thing was to tell my dad about everything.

So we went to my house leaving the poor man dangling.

We went to his office right away and as usual there he was working away.

We explained everything to him and all he did was nod his head.

"Jackson take care of the man".

"Yes sir".

We both left his office, then Jackson left immediately. When Jackson is being serious the whole world seems so boring.

Having some time to my self, I had chef Zac prefer a bunch of comfort food for me. Then I went to the living room with all my food to watch a movie.

While watching the movie, all I could think about was how much of a bitch I've been.

I accused Theo wrongly and hurt his feelings. I wonder if he'll forgive me if I apologized.

Then again, it was nice having Cole comfort me.

What the hell are you thinking, you whore. Oh there goes my subconscious again.

Speaking of Cole, I wonder if he got home safely. I should probably send him a text.

Me:
Hey, are you home yet?

Cole:
Miss me?

Me:
You wish. I just wanted to make sure my assistant wasn't kidnapped or something.

Cole:
You could have waited till morning to do that. Just admit it Hernandez. You miss me

Me:
I'm blocking you now. Byyeee

He's fine.

What about Theo. Honestly what about him. He hasn't spoken to me since the whole incident.

Oh Alexa, can your life get anymore complicated.

And as if the universe heard my cry. "Hi Tracy". Yup. Tracy's here. My brother's baby mama.

"Hey Alexa. Where's your brother". She asked in her regular bitchy tone. Even motherhood couldn't fix her.

"How should I know". I told her then I went back to stuffing my face with chef Zac's masterpiece.

"You better start being nice to me. I just might become your brother's wife"

"You wish. My brother knows better than to bring trash home"

"Oh you little.."

"You touch my sister, then I might just forget that you're carrying my child". Axel said from the stairs.

He came down and sat next me. Taking some of my food and eating it.

"Hey get your own". I said taking back the plate.

"Umm... Axel. I came here to see you". Tracy said all pretentious.

"You've seen me. Now what". Oh snap. Axel that was harsh. But it's Tracy so I'll allow it.

"Axel we're having a baby. We need to talk about our future"

"Tracy, we don't have a future. We should be talking about my child's future instead"

"It's my baby too you know"

"I know. I wasn't planning on taking the child away from you. After the child's born we'll have joint custody".

"What do you mean joint custody. Wouldn't it just be better if we lived together. I don't want my child moving from place to place"

"There's no way I'm bringing a snake into my house"

"If I may". I decided to contribute. "Tracy alot of people have babies without moving in or getting married nowadays. So what's your problem. Or is it you're thinking about your happiness instead of the child's"

"Alexa don't say anything. You know nothing about being a mother and wanting the best for your child". Tracy's words actually hurt for a bit. I wonder how my life would have been if my baby was here.

"Don't speak to my sister in that tone". Dear big brother always defending me.

"You know I live alone. What if something happens and there's no one there to help me out".

"Just admit it. You want to live here. Alright then. You'll live here until the child's born. After that you're leaving".

"What about dad?" I asked. I'm not even sure dad knows he's about to become a grandfather.

"I'll have a word with him about it"

I could see the excitement in Tracy's eyes. In her head she probably won the lottery. Then again she just found herself living in the Hernandez Mansion.

Tracy living here means alot of things but worse of all, I'll have to see her everyday.

God please give me the strength to pull through.

Just then one of the guards walked in. "Young master?". He called out to Axel.

"Speak".

"There's someone here to see you. She claims to know you from school". I wonder who it was. This was literally the first time a girl came looking for Axel. Other than Tracy that is.

"Let her in"

And then she walked in. Talk about sexy. She was the whole package.

She was a brunette and her hair was shiny like it had just been washed. Her light brown eyes were so mesmerizing that you could get lost just from looking at them.

And don't get me started on her other features. She was the kind of girl every guy wants to go out with and every girl wants to be. But then again she reminded me of someone but I just couldn't remember who.

I looked over at Axel he got up and it was like he was frozen on the spot. Like he had just seen a ghost from the 1900s or something.

Then he said her name "Gabby?!"
