28. Slumber Party

I woke up early and took a long shower.

It was nice just letting the water fall on me.

I got out of the shower and I put my hair up in an awkwardly messy bun.

Then I called the pilot and the airport maintenance staff to get my dad's private jet ready.

It was about time I went to Ohio.

I packed up a few outfits, I wasn't sure if I was gonna stay long.

After that was done I called Cole.

"Hey boss lady". He said over the phone.

"So I took your advice. And you were right"

"Right about what exactly"

"About me and Theo. So if you don't mind I'd like for you to take care of the company while I'm gone for a few days".

"It would be my pleasure boss lady. And I hope I'll be a godfather soon"

"Oh my gosh shut up". I said before I ended the call.

Godfather my ass.

I got the last of my stuff and I left my room only to collide with Jackson's hard chest.

"Where do you think you're going". He said looking rather serious.

"Ohio"

"And you didn't tell me". He said placing a hand on his chest pretending to be hurt. "Good thing I came prepared".

"What the fudge. I didn't even tell you about it"

"Well I saw you yesterday standing in front of Theo's house looking all sad. So I figured you would have realized that he's the love of your life by now"

"I wouldn't say love of my life"

"Alright then soul mate. So shut and let's go". He said as he took my hand and dragged me all the way down the stairs.

This time the trip to the airport didn't end with someone dying.

The flight was mostly Jackson and I talking about dumb stuff and boys.

And yes he's still looking for Hercules.

We arrived in Ohio and when I stepped out I took a deep breath.

It's been a while.

We both got in the car while my guards followed in another car.

Jackson was basically more skilled than all my guards combined so my guards actually let me stay alone with him.

We drove to the hotel we were going to be staying.

It was luxurious. I didn't know Jackson was coming along so I wasn't able to get him a room. And you know what that's means. Slumber party!!!!

And yes I still love slumber parties.

"So what happens when you find out what really went down that night". Jackson said with his mouth full of popcorn.

"I don't know yet. But no matter what we find, I know what my heart wants".

"And that is?".

"To be with Theo again".

"What if he doesn't want you anymore". Jackson's question brought back the bitter reality that Theo hates me now.

"I don't really know. But one thing's for sure I won't give up. I'll pester him until he loves me again".

"That's my girl. Now back to the movie. She's definitely gonna fall for the bad boy". Jackson immediately went back to stuffing his face.

We watched like three movies before we finally fell asleep.
