I watched him get on one knee and look me straight in the eyes. He popped open the ringbox and I saw the prettiest diamond I've ever laid my eyes on.
"Will you marry me baby girl?". Theo asked.
A few hours ago
Okay quick recap of my life. I found out three years ago that I was adopted. My ex boyfriend left me to die in a car. And said ex boyfriend is my new NEIGHBOR.
"Umm... Hello. I'm still standing here". Theo's voice brought me back to reality.
"What on Earth are you doing here?" I asked straight out of confusion.
"Well I needed a place to stay and I liked this neighborhood so here I am. Your neighbor again"
"What evil plan do you have this time. Is there another secret I don't know about. Maybe this time you turn out to be my long lost dad"
"Hold your horses sweetheart. I don't have any ulterior motive for being here. Unless wanting to see you everyday".
"I'm so flattered".
"Since you're so flattered you could do kind by accepting my dinner invitation"
"I'm sorry I don't think my boyfriend would approve of that".
"Boyfriend?!. Wow bring him along then. I don't really care who you bring along as long as I get to see that beautiful face of yours".
"Fine. Whatever". I said as I continued with my jogging.
"I love you baby!!" He yelled
Gosh that got on my nerves but I couldn't help but smile a little.
Oh come on Alexa. You can't fall for his childishness.
I finished jogging, today I jogged a lot longer than I usually do. I needed to clear my head.
Especially since I foolishly agreed to have dinner with Theo and the gala was only a few days away.
I walked into my room and saw Tyler was standing there. At least it saved me the phone call.
"Hey, where have you been. You usually don't take this long". Tyler asked with all he's blue eyed sexiness. Then my head went back to another blue eyed sex god.
God I need help
"Well my ex boyfriend is my new neighbor and we're having dinner tonight". I said bluntly. I was never one for lies.
"Wow that's alot. Why on Earth would you be having dinner with him"
"Not me. Us"
"Why are we having dinner with him". Tyler asked utterly shocked but honestly more confused.
"No reason. Just come over later".
"Whatever you say. But if he tries anything. I'm gonna kill someone's son".
"Good luck with that".

I spent half the day thinking about my so called dinner with Theo. I wanted to talk to someone about it. But no one knows about.
I think it's about time.
I brought out my phone then sent Axel and Jackson the same text.
Code TVd assap.
And within minutes they both came running into my room.
Code TVd was something Axel, Jackson and I came up with.
We use that code when someone has a problem or something to confess. The other two would listen while we all binged watch The vampire diaries.
There's just something about that show that lets all our sins and secrets flow.
"Okay. So what the fuck happened and what season are we watching?" Jackson asked dramatically like someone's life was in danger.
"Season 6. And why were you two together. You literally walked in the exact same time"
"That's not important" Axel said. But I still smelled something fishy.
"Okay let's get started. I wanna talk about my ex boyfriend"
"Which one" Axel asked before rolling he's eyes.
"He's no ordinary ex boyfriend. He's Theo Reyes"
"Theo Reyes as in default heir of the Garcias"
"Yes. We were together three years ago".
I went on to tell them the full story. Starting from when we met. To how we fought. How we started dating. I even told them how Harley died. And how I lost my child. Everything all up to this morning.
"Wow girl. You got some heavy baggage". Jackson said
"I'm gonna kill that bastard. How dare the dick even dream if asking you out. And you accepted". I felt Axel's rage build up. He was always the overprotective brother.
"That's not what matters. It's the fact that he's back". I said while curling up into a ball.
"You're going right?" Jackson asked.
"No she isn't". Axel objected.
"I am actually. I can't keep avoiding the past. Especially since the past lives nextdoor".
"Okay let's talk outfits" Jackson said then Axel got up
"Okay that's my cue to leave. Just don't do anything stupid Lex". Axel patted my head before walking out.
"About the dress we want something that screams sexy but not horny". Jackson kept ranting about dresses but honestly I wasn't paying much attention anymore.

I walked into he's house and saw the lights were deem. Suddenly the whole place light up.
I followed the trail of candles and rose petals until I got to a balcony.
A table for two had already been set up and he was standing with a glass of champagne in he's hand.
"Theo?" I called out to him.
"Come look at the moon with me". He beckoned on me. I walked towards him and stood right next to him.
We were both looking at the moon. When I turned around to face him.
