42. Let's Kill Alexa

Isa

I was broken inside and I knew it. All I ever wanted. All I needed to make me whole again was Theo.

And yet someone who didn't deserve him stole him away from me.

I stood there under the pouring rain and watched as he took her hand. I watched how close they were. Until he eventually threw her over his shoulder and took her inside.

That was when I broke.

I started walking back home. I didn't take my car because I didn't feel like driving. And now I'm too sad to call an Uber.

It usually takes 30 minutes to drive from my place to Theo's. So imagine how long it would take to walk there.

I didn't want to cry and I didn't.

Instead the wheels in my brain started turning.

I'm not evil but every story needs a villian. And now I'm gonna be their villian.

I finally got home drenched and filled with rage.

"Gabby!!" I called out her name repeatedly until she was standing in front of me.

"What the fuck Isa. You're drenched".

"I can see that genius".

"What got you in a bad mood?". She asked rather idiotically if I may add.

"Theo". I replied.

"God no. Not again. I told you that you need to let him go".

"And I told you that I was never gonna let him go".

"So what's the plan?".

"Let's kill Alexa".

Theo.

Ever since the whole rain thing, Alexa and I have been practically inseparable.

It felt like we were both trying to make up for lost time.

And honestly I don't think I have ever been this happy in my entire life.

She makes me happy and I vowed to protect her. And that's when I got an idea.

"Wake up sleeping beauty". I whispered in her ear. She laid her head on my head and wrapped her leg around me.

"You know you have to kiss sleeping beauty first right". She replied me.

Then I placed a gentle kiss on her lips and she leaped up with a huge smile on her face.

"I could get used to this". She told me without her smile vanishing.

"Get used to what?". I asked her.

"Waking up next to you everyday". She replied.

"Well that could be arranged". I said then I grabbed her and placed her on my lap.

"Hey what are you doing". She said trying to hide her laughter.

"I wanna make a baby".

"What. No way. At least not now. But then again-" she started rambling random nonsense.

"So you do want to have a baby with me". I said teasingly.

"Nope. I'm not falling for this. Another topic please".

"Okay let's talk about how hot you would look in a maternity dress".

"Theo!!!". She turned red almost immediately and ran off into the toilet.

And that was my chance to grab her phone.

After doing everything that I wanted I placed it back on the nightstand.

When she got out of the bathroom she got dressed and went back home.

The rest of my day went by in a rather boring way. Maybe it was because Alexa wasn't here.

Then I heard a knock on my bedroom door.

"Yes". I said then a maid walked in.

"Sir someone's here to see you. She said she was an old friend of yours".

"Tell her to wait In the living room. I'm on my way". I told the maid she shook her head then she left.

I closed my laptop and placed my gun in my waistband just in case.

I walked into the living room and saw that it was a familiar face.

"Gabby". I called out to her.

"Here there Reyes. Still as handsome as ever I see".

"What brings you here?". I asked not wanting to waste time on pleasantries.

Gabby and I never really saw eye to eye

"I'm here to talk about my sister".

"What about Isa?" I asked her.

"Do you know that she's in love with you. More like obsessed"

"What do you want me to do anything". I said with a grim look on my face.

"You know you don't have to be so mean about this. Gosh I don't even know what my sister sees in you. You're just a pompous dick". I could tell from her tone that she was already pissed.

"Are you done".

"No. I need your help. Just stay with her for a little while, just so she doesn't do anything stupid".

"I'm sorry but I can't do that. You said it yourself she's obsessed. You need to get help for your sister".

"But all she wants is you. She refuses to take her antidepressants. She doesn't take her medication and her anxiety is becoming worse. Do you know how it feels watching her have panic attacks all the time".

"Listen Gabby I care about Isa just as much as you do but I'm not the cure for all this. If anything I'm toxic to her. You need to find help for her". I said in a comforting tone.

"You know what Reyes. Fuck you. I don't need your pity. From here on out I'm done playing nice. I only came to talk to you so that I could stop Isa from doing what she's planning to do". She said then stormed out angrily.

I just hope these sisters don't do something crazy.
