As the door opened.
After looking what was inside. Me, Ava and Julia could only look at each other and stare.
We saw a girl who looked like 15 her body was twisted to a unusual angle her legs were bent.
Yet, she was awake and speaking.
Me and Julia stared at Ava when she whispered,
"Book a bed at ER and a OR and text Dr.Diego from the ortho."
Julia did all the stuff which Ava told.
I reached out to the ambulance and took out the gurnery.

The girl was silent but awake.
The ambulance medic girl named Aakasha told us,
"She fell from a two storey house and she was high. So you guys need to do a toxin test and her neurology is intact but she almost broke all her bones in the body."
We hurried and pushes the gurnery to the ER.
And then Ava started to check for palpitation in the abdominal area.

Julia hurried and screamed at us,
"What are you guys doing? Why did you not take for a CT scan yet?"
Ava replied with the same tone of calmness.
"Stop screaming! If we don't check for palpitation then in the CT she might faint due to the squeamish feeling."
Julia did not reply she just jerked her head and went on the way to call Dr Diego who still hadn't reach.

We rushed her to the CT scan and the medic researcher said that the reports would come in after ten minutes so we took her to the drug test as soon as she breathed into the tester the machine started beeping and then not knowing what to say.
Ava spoke up,
"That means if she would had taken a little bit more then she would had ODed."
"Are you asking or telling?" I sighed and asked.
Before she could reply we both got her test results back and that her parent's were here.
We booked her the room number 2045. And got her vitals steady.
Ava looked at me and asked, " If we give her dopamine to reduce the pain doesn't that mean that we are giving the addict exactly what she want?"
I replied, " It's not our place to decide, we are not the rehab we are surgeons who are trying to save her life."

But then the girl replied," Well I guess your friend is wrong because I am not an addict and by the way I have a name. And it is Gia Hentei."

Her parent's came in and so did the nurse with the reports.
I spoke to the parent while Ava gave her dopamine.
"She is really lucky that she did not hurt any of her organs. She broke her floating ribs and the upper thorax and the femur. Which are repairable but she will have to take physiotherapy."

"Can we speak to her?" Asked Mr.Hentei
"Yes sure" Ava replied.

Mr and Mrs Hentei went inside the room with us.
Mr Hentei started yelling, " Why did you do this. No.....wait it doesn't matter you are just a disappointment to us nothing more than that."

" Oh please, I am nothing like disappointment, I get straight A's and the school's head captain, national swimmer, take tutions for the younger kids and the student body president. I am everything hut disappointment." Said Gia.

Me and Ava looked at each other at awe.

Her parent's just shrugged and then Mrs Hentei whispered something and they went out of the room.
Dr.Diego came in and checked her report and asked Ava and me to scrub in. Ava went with Dr.Deigo to inform the patient about the surgery.

I went and sat down next to Gia.
And Gia asked, "You have been silent and not even said a word against me."

I replied," Well the only thing that is going on my head is that why would you do this like you are the perfectionist so...?"

She replied,"Sometimes the perfectionist gets frustrated. I did it for the first time cocaine. I am just tired of being the perfect daughter, perfect girl, best friend and student. I just need to break the cycle of goodness."

" Listen it's is okay to have a breakthrough. It's okay not to be perfect in everything. Don't push yourself over the boundaries always. And listen I am not telling this to you as you doctor but as your friend that the next time you think that you need to break the cycle then atleast have a friend with you to take care of. Okay?"

"Okay" she replied smiling.

I got texted from Neal that one of my patient's was crashing.
I rushed to Ava and told her that I could not scrub in for Gia Hentei and rushed to floor number two.
By the time I reached there Yenken was crashing and Neal was trying to intubate him.
"What happened?" I asked Neal.
"The pressure in his artery is pressuring the heart making it a cardiac tamponade."
"Good, I will show you this once and you have to follow because from next time you have to do it on your own."
Neal smiled.
" Now give me the scalpel and make a incision on the throat and put the intubate tube inside that incision it would help to relive the pressure."

As soon as I did it the monitor slowed down making the heart rate normal.

Neal, one more thing.
"Can you tell my patient Will Grayson that I will come to visit him tomorrow as my shift is over and I am very tired."
"Yeah sure." He replied.

I walked out to the residents room and changed my clothes and threw the trauma overcoat in the dustbin.

While walking out I saw through the window that Gia parent's were hugging her and  crying outside Ava was also smiling with tears in her eyes.
She looked at me and waved her hand saying bye.

I walked out the hospital door and I was so tired when I reached home that I did not do anything just lie down in the bed and I fell asleep.
