A lady, approximately 34 years old was standing on a stage with a microphone trying to a start a speech among group of more than fifty people. She cleared her voice and started saying,
"A meeting,a room full of people with the utmost knowledge which has been bestowed them from the universe or by themselves. Knowledge is something which can be procured or stolen or even plagiarized. And as I am standing in this hall full of doctors who might be the greatest doctors in this era or goons with the concept of plagiarism. And this brings me to my topic, what do you think is the greatest mistake of a doctor? Giving the wrong med, making a faulty decision or looking for a loop hole in the medical series? Or not having the backbone to tell the patient's family that we failed the duty given to us by the nature? Anyways I think that this enough for today's speech and I call on to the stage is Dr.Skye Miller."
A young lady, with blonde hair with grey eyes walked up to the stage and took the microphone in our hands with the dignity that shook the whole room.
And she started her part of the seminar,"Hello everyone, I warm heartedly welcome you to this seminar. I am Dr.Skye Miller, I am a pediatrician. So yes it is my job to take care of tiny, beautiful, handsome and even unborn children. As Dr.Harriet Spectre has just given us the opening speech then some of us have understood that today's topic is about some mistakes in our career which will haunt us. So let me not waste anymore of our precious time and countinue with my story."
She just took a step back from the microphone and took a sip of water and started the power point presentation. There was a young boy's picture.
"This is George Santiago,a boy who at the age of fourteen came to my chamber with his parents. He had osteosarcoma just above his knee in the left leg.His parents took him to each and every hospital but their only answer was amputation and they were not ready to cut of the leg from their fourteen year old son.So they came to me. I took this little boy to the scan and saw that the osteosarcoma was not very hard to remove, it was not attached to any femoral artery and was not damaging any nerves. So I took him to the surgery the next day and the surgery was successful. His leg was perfect. The surgery was perfect. But now any orthopedic surgeon here would know the pain that takes over to the body when this operation is done,so can anyone name me the med which would be the given to George?"
A boy in black leather jacket from the third row raised his hand and said,"Opioids."
Dr Skye Miller,"Yes correct, opioids.Given to the patient with extreme care but they are also called synthetic opioids such as fentanyl, and pain relievers available legally by prescription, such as oxycodone, hydrocodone, codeine, morphine, and many others. But the it also contains the most addicting illegal drug heroin. So I made the right call and gave him the opioids and after a week of recovery I sent him home."
"Two years later, the same George Santiago died in a car crash that is the time that I understood that he was an drug addict and I was his first drug dealer cause I was the one who bought him his first drug but I made the right call giving him opioids and the next time I will do it again"
The whole room started mumbling and murmuring and obviously started speaking ill about this young lady. But she continued to speak.
"I would do it forever because that is the only med which will help any patient if they have a surgery of removal of osteosarcoma. But the thing which I have learnt from my mistake is that I would have given him the the med then okay but then we should not just let the patients go we should and have to monitor their progress and make sure that they should not take the drugs anymore. And that is the right call. This was my mistake and my redemption. And from then I make sure that I do the right thing and right call. From then my statistic of children dying due to drug dealing got reduced from 5% to 1.2%. So I am hoping that all the pediatricians here and ortho surgeons will start following this procedure which will cause our patients ease and a long term life treatment and us sleep at night. Till date the only fact is that I have killed a sixteen year old boy named George Santiago and that is the fact with which I will have to live.So that is it for today's seminar.Thank you and have a nice day and always remember that it is always beautiful day to save lives.
The whole room was silent as Dr Miller started to walk away and it took all of us from the daze and brought us back to the reality.

"Oh my god, that is such a good story, inspiring and emotional. It's really difficult being a doctor." Will said quietly.
"It is and now let me take you back to your room it has been more than a hour so you have to go the room and take the IL3."
Nurse Lanie took the side bars of his wheelchair and started dragging the wheel chair to the room. It took us five minutes to reach the room and I inserted the IL3 into his saline and he started to feel groggy.
"Good night Will" I said whispered
"Thank you Hayley for today it felt so good and felt like I was not dying and we were hanging out and tomorrow painting with a game okay?"
"Okay"
"And I am sorry Hayley that your whole day got wasted because of me and you did not get to see any awesome and mind blowing surgeries."
"Hey, shut up. First of all you are not going to die, the pathology are making a treatment plan for you and my day did not get wasted it was fun and I will be looking forward to it everyday because you are the worth of trillions of surgeries."
"Good night Hayley." He said before he felt asleep.
