Theodore
I stood outside of the small french restaurant that I was going to take Miss. Lisa to tonight. I looked down at my watch to make sure I was on time, and I was. We were supposed to meet here at eight, and now it's nearing 8:30 and I haven't seen or heard from Miss. Lisa except for earlier this afternoon at Ava's school. She said she'd be here, so I don't know where she's at. I mean, I don't mind waiting, but the paparazzi bombarding me with questions is really getting me on edge.
"Any sight of her?" I asked my driver.
He shook his head. "No, Mr. Reed."
"You think she stood me up?"
"Nah."
"How you so sure?"
"'Cause I see her pulling up in the parking lot right now," he replied, pointing to the only moving vehicle in the parking lot.
In lue of me getting back into the dating game, I planned on going all out for this date tonight. I rented out the entire restaurant for the night, just so the two of us could ensure our privacy. I even have a violinist here to play for us while we eat. I'm just trying to start fresh with her, because I have high hopes for us. I don't want to get too ahead of myself but I can see a difference in her, compared to many of the other women I dated. While all of them weren't after one thing, they were all selfish and greedy in their own ways.
"Should I help her out of her car?" I asked my driver.
"Hell yeah. You can get a feel on her if you help her," he laughed.
I shook my head. "I told you she's different."
"You said that same shit about Miss. Charlotte."
"Nah, I'm for real this time fam."
I walked around him and pushed past the paparazzi, who had turned their attention to Miss. Lisa, who I'm sure wasn't accustomed to this type of lifestyle. I helped her out of her car, and didn't cope a feel, instead I just looked at what I'd be dealing with this evening.
"You look sexy," I complimented while she was bent over, reaching for her purse inside of her car.
She immediately stood up, turning around so I wasn't looking at her ass anymore. "You don't look so bad yourself," she smiled as she looked out at the paparazzi, who were taking pictures of us so they could make more lies up about me on their blogs. "Is this normal for you?"
"A little, just don't even look their way."
She nodded her head and hastily walked along side of me so we could enter the restaurant that was awaiting our arrival, well hers since I've been here for half an hour. We walked inside of the empty restaurant and that immediately put a larger smile on her face.
"This is beautiful Mr. Reed," she said as she looked out at the empty restaurant. "Is it just the two of us tonight?"
"Yeah. I rented out the place so there can't be any distractions."
"Well, I think that's a very sweet thing to do Mr. Reed."
"Call me Teddy," I said as we got seated at a table by the waiter.
"Sorry. I'm just so used to it."
The waiter filled our glasses with water and gave us the menu so we could look over our options for the night. I looked above my menu at Miss. Lisa. She was so concentrated on her menu that she didn't even realize I was looking. I looked back down at my menu before looking up at her again. She was still buried deep in her menu.
